I was just wondering, what are the main differences between the regular, the pro and the LE editions of TRON? And would it be easy to transform a regular TRON into an LE one? Is the software different between the three? And is it interchangeable or "locked" like LOTR?

Reason I'm asking is because getting your hands on a regular TRON is quite easy, but the LE's are all sold out.

LE has added modes Daft Punk multiball, black out mode, added music (caster ) end of the line. Added inserts, lite up ramps, chrome, silver around inserts.I maybe missing some thing.

There are still plenty of new LE's available. They're just more expensive now. Many of the larger distributors ordered a bunch of them on spec.

I've read that you won't be able to put LE software on a Pro machine.

Not by any stretch of the imagination!

Ok TAT you need to add that game to your collection. So you have 19 games now???? Cool.

Thanks for the replies. I wish I lived in the States so I could order one. Here in Holland the 10 or so LE machines that were imported are all gone.

So I guess there won't be an upgrade kit? I don't neccesarily need an LE, I just want the lit ramps and extra modes.

I wish we could get you one Robin. If all the Pinsiders chipped in we could do it. A great way to pay you back for working so hard and making Pinside the BEST!

I know that thing is so sad Will Ferrell couldn't make it laugh. Now that's sad!
