Updating Spike System via SD card

So stern says you can update the spike system instantly by installing the code directly on the sd card. I can't find anyone else trying to do this but I would love instant updates.

I've pulled the SD card and plugged it into my computer. Says it has a 3.5 MB capacity and 32 KB used. The 32 KB is one file on the card. BOOT.BIN. It is a 4GB card.

The 956MB kiss pro update file obviously wont fit on there. Anyone have any info? Do they have this SD card partitioned?

Look at the partitions in diskmanager. It's probably not accessible in windows. Maybe Linux

Ask them to publish a service bulletin, similar to #164, but for Spike SD cards.

We know that at least some versions of some games, you can plug in a USB stick to initiate an "update". Whoa Nelly allowed for field updating 1.50 to 1.51. But to go from 1.1 to 1.5 required Stern sending out SD cards. Or, publishing a procedure on how to reimage the SD cards.
