Stern, 2015So stern says you can update the spike system instantly by installing the code directly on the sd card. I can't find anyone else trying to do this but I would love instant updates.
I've pulled the SD card and plugged it into my computer. Says it has a 3.5 MB capacity and 32 KB used. The 32 KB is one file on the card. BOOT.BIN. It is a 4GB card.
The 956MB kiss pro update file obviously wont fit on there. Anyone have any info? Do they have this SD card partitioned?

Ask them to publish a service bulletin, similar to #164, but for Spike SD cards.
We know that at least some versions of some games, you can plug in a USB stick to initiate an "update". Whoa Nelly allowed for field updating 1.50 to 1.51. But to go from 1.1 to 1.5 required Stern sending out SD cards. Or, publishing a procedure on how to reimage the SD cards.
