Hello!
I have a Goldeneye which was working as it should but it had a very early prototype code (0.92) which overall works perfectly for tournaments, as it has no MB ready on ball 3, and does not save lit lock progressions. but due to some iffy behaviour I chose to order the newest eproms and got a CPU 4.04 and a display 4.00 eprom from pinball center.
I installed them both, made sure it replaced the existing ones, all pins aligned correctly and in the right direction. Now, when I power on the machine the DMD is completely black, but I can hear sound and the game seems to be working.
Can this be a probable faulty eprom?
I see the looong ribbon cable is connected from the display driver board to the CPU board, but the other shorter ribbon cable on the display driver board is not connected to anything. Is this correct? I could not find another place it should connect to.
Thanks!
Morten
