I am a newbie on this page, however not to pinball mods. Attempting to create a mod for the STTNG Speaker Panel. The artwork has (3) small sectioned about 2 inches wide each.

Need something which would have 5 leds per section, and control them to change in interesting ways. The strips would go behind the speaker plastic artwork.
Sorry, I know this is very specific, just not sure where to look, or who to ask.

Ok guys, we are a sharing community on here, so here is what I am working on. I think I'm on the right track but know nearly nothing about the addressable leds and controller boards. My MOD idea is to put 3 or 4 led strips into a customize STTNG speaker panel, to create the effect of the console lights blinking and moving across (like in the show). I can recess the leds strips to be level with the surface, and run tiny wires out the rear to a controller board.

I know this is an extreme mod idea, so call me crazy (been called worse lol). Just thought this would be super cool enhancement to the machine.
Thoughts? Ideas? As you can imagine, the led strips will need to be short, and from I am reading, the controller board tells them the lighting patterns to run.

Appreciate advice and suggestions, sincerely.
