Final Switch Test & Tweak before Fish Tales leaves
This is honestly great work and a great reference for anyone starting our or intermediates looking to tackle a restore job.
In the spirit of restoring and protecting the game with cabinet art protectors, have you looked into comet retro leds? I noticed you still use incandescent bulbs. Leds would last longer, have less heat to reduce risk to plastics, wood, and also the boards
The only downside I would see is that you wouldn’t get the classic fade of old bulbs

The fade is critical IMO .. LED/GI OCD a must if you go LED.

These games are typically going to collectors that play occasionally and not sticking them on route and sitting for hours on end in attract mode. I'm a huge fan of nostalgia and original condition games. For the limited use these are on and playing in private game rooms, the heat of incandescents is not a major factor. With the new field, plastics and metal, the game is beyond bright enough not really requiring (at times) blinding LED's.
It is a quick swap if someone wanted to add and I've typically included LED's with most of my games if the new owner decides to swap out.

Pin Gods were smiling on me that day

“Just a quick cab swap”
Sounds like me with my cars and “just a quick engine swap, no big deal”.
Looks great. Saw the Junk Yard above with new decals, looks amazing. Looks like my JY also needs that…

That's some fine looking clear tubing in that first pic.

So did Williams make other conversion kits, or just Congo?
Seems like a strange choice considering that the Congo movie itself was kind of a bomb. I can't believe there were a lot of operators sitting around thinking "If only I could convert my Whitewater into that new Congo machine..."
If they had done a Medieval Madness conversion, that might have worked out okay.

Congo is WPC 95. Most were used to change out the Super Turd NBAFB
Conversion idea was then used again for RFM and SWEP1
After taking some time find some parts… NOS creech hologram will soon be ready for application.
Removing old holo with rubbing alcohol bath and polished mounting plate is no easy feat.
Will polish and clean plate once more before applying the sacred hologram ….

Refabricating the creature hologram lamp assembly to new. More extremely game specific parts that are no easy feat to rebuild
Dropping playfield in cabinet, but with still plenty of small stuff to tweak and add
Slowly wrapping Amy up, very fun project !
