IMG-20190331-WA0004 (resized).jpgQuoted from dsuperbee:Finally got my grubby hands on a pro. Huge fan of the band, and love the game.
Keeping it pretty much stock, but would like to put the premium/Le orb target in place of the traditional standup. Is this possible? I haven't found any posts mentioning it
Lets hope someone can make that... That traditional standup is very strange to hit... prefer the newton ball
Quoted from Skeets:I would prefer this also. It would seem pretty straight forward, get the newton ball assembly from the premium...then drill the appropriate hole in your playfield to fit said assembly and hook the switch where the stand up target was.
It really seems it comes down to who is brave enough to drill a hole through their pro playfield.
Yeap, but i think maybe someone can manage a way to put it, without drilling the playfield
Quoted from djreddog:Not quite. Machine is pretty, but until you install vireland insert light mods, it will never be complete
Eheheh kind of agree with you.. is a must have for sure.
Im trying to mod it, but not to much, quality Over quantity.
Quoted from Bundy:Isn’t this going to interfere with ball movement?
[quoted image]
No my friend,
the ball travels very nice and is a good visual effect because the ball hit the chains
Quoted from dsuperbee:Those are like gold, and I do have an extra, but I'm worried it's so close to the flipper it will break in short order.
I'm more than willing to drill my pf to make the prem. version work. Just need a premium and or Le manual to see the part numbers to order
I think this would fit just fine
pasted_image (resized).pngI would love to see on the new code a "random letter ramp", when you put it on hard after the first mode you always shot right and left ramp to get letters, if they can put it on random, you need to shot all over the playfield go get letters... Is a simple update that would make all the diference.
Quoted from Who-Dey:Thats a pretty good idea. If you were to send that to Stern that is something that i bet they may consider.
How can we post this ideia for Stern can see or consider it? I this is a small change, but with massive results...
Quoted from Tranquilize:A revolving shot would fix this issue. Something needs to be done about the issue. "I made it to the last two modes, so now I just shoot ramps until I die or succeed..."
That is exatly my point.... this game deserves more than that...
I would like to know if someone else feels the bottom right flipper lack a bit of strenght, already order a new coils and the coil sleeve, changed the strenght to hard, any other thing to look? im missing something? What is your degree pitch?
Quoted from KnockerPTSD:I keep mine around 6.5-6.6 and I'm hitting loops no problem.
Upper right flipper is very nice, the lower one is the problem...
Quoted from KnockerPTSD:Some things I would like to see in the next code update.
-Jukebox mode
-Better ball recognition in the orbit. (Too often I shoot the right orbit and the shoot right back up the left orbit but the game cant tell)
-the loop extra ball at a more reasonable number (maybe 25?) My loop record is only 24 so either i suck at loops or 50 is overly ambitious unless you are Keith Elwin.
-added code to icarus as its the only mode I really dislike playing
-more tracks possibly
Feature adjustment n13.... Set the loop to 30, much more balance like this i guess.
I wish that they could actually put some more interest or randomness on picking eddie letters, any adjustment to select no timed modes?
Quoted from tomdotcom:Finally beat the bastad. I've battled him like 10 times or more easily. This day I win.

Dimples
Quoted from KnockerPTSD:I dont get the figures thing. This isnt Monster Bash. The focus isnt the Eddie characters. Maiden is an amazing shooter with basically zero focus on toys or mechs. I feel like all these figures people buy just seem out of place and in some cases just tacky.
The only figures i found that could make sense...

MacFarlene figures and some more extras
Quoted from Anony:Mine is still stuck solid with the 3m tape recommended earlier. Quite a few games played too, someone sat on the machine for almost 6 straight hours while me and her boyfriend played golden tee, still no peeling.
I have a playfield protector, is safe ? You have a picture of the exact location?
Quoted from Anony:Playfield protectors cover the whole playfield right? I'd think you could install this directly over it, I installed mine over the mylar that was already there.
I'm having trouble finding a good picture of where it goes but it's just behind the center ramp to the left of the nylon pin where the ball typically drops from the ramp shot.

Cliffy's site shows it pretty well but the cliffy protector doesn't go quite as far to the right as the official one.

I will check that Thanks
