Quoted from Talon2000:You guys are slow. I had my spot for an LE 3 years ago with my Dist.
A mate in Aussie has had his name on the list for an LE since 2013.
Quoted from AlexSMendes:Makes me wonder.... who'll be getting #666? Though it may still be awhile till it gets made, I'd be stunned if that # isn't reserved yet...
Probably a very long time since they’re only making 500 LE’s
Quoted from AlexSMendes:Yeah, but I surely doubt it will stop at that... Seriously, what other pin launch have created such a vibe in the past few years?
Doesn’t mean the will make any more LE’s just make more premiums.
Quoted from Eskaybee:How bad ass is Cyborg MB and Mummy mb now!?!
Stop it Eskaybee, we’re not getting ours until July.
Quoted from Eskaybee:July?!? Ouch you might as well as drain this thread
What version?
LE, can’t wait.
Quoted from wontwa:Looking at finally pulling the trigger on a Premium and was wondering if anyone knows which distributors are apt to throw a shaker motor in as part of the sale? I've seen it come up from time to time in the past with machines that wouldn't include them stock otherwise, but was wondering if that was still the case?
They might throw a couple ring girls in if you want to buy WWE LE but doubt it for Iron Maiden.
Quoted from Sako-TRG:Hi All,
I'm a newbie and have a couple of silly questions:-
At the end of IM when you drain, you see a number being shot into the aeroplane, what does this number represent?
I set my tilt plum up when my machine arrived and can def see the advantage of nudging the machine. Can repeated nudges damage the cabinet or legs?
Thanks in advance
It’s the match sequence. You could win a free game.
Normal nudging won’t damage the machine.
Quoted from Billy16:Man, I just updated this yesterday! Well, since the bug seems to work to my advantage, I'm waiting for .05...
Hahahaha spoken like an average player just lik most of us.
Quoted from markymark2400:Hi Guys,
HELP WANTED
New owner first NIB pinball, for my 40th bday, been waiting a long time , so many apologies if you have seen some of these questions here already, I just sadly do not have the time to go through 40 pages of the forum.
Things I am wondering, I love the game, was trying to get to grips with some newbie things, I am browsing through the menu system, I can see things like :
Directors Cut
Novelty mode
Extra Easy mode etc
Where on earth is the instruction manual? I have no idea what any of this means? What mode is it set to as standard? Easy ? Medium?
Also do you guys ever play with 5 balls or always a 3 ball game?
I REALLY appreciate any advice you can give. The game seems pretty hard in terms of rules and trying to look at what to do on the screen whilst keeping the ball alive!
M
There is a manual you can download from the games section on Sterns website and one post above yours, there is a game guide to show you what to do in the game.
When you scroll through the settings it tells you which one is the default.
Never really got into directors cut or novelty, but just play around with it if you want to find out.
I always use factory settings with 3 balls, but it’s your game set it up how you want it, that’s why thes settings are changeable.
Have fun and enjoy your game, it’s a good one.
Quoted from Gryszzz:Almost kitsch, it's so ironic, but never ceases to amaze me on the world's biggest and best pinball site whenever you ask for some "super secret mf strategy" everyone shuts right the fuck up.
I feel like Tom Hanks writing HELP in the sand and Wilson just sittin there eyeballin me like the little bastard that he is.
PLAY BETTER!
Gryszzz there is a really good run through of the game by Eskaybee somewhere in this or the Irom Maiden revealed thread. Look for that.
Quoted from Gryszzz:Thanks brother, I read it, I was there. SKB blew that shit up immediately I'm a half step from pm'ing him.
Also that European dude that got 3 billion.
Let's hear from you.
I’d love to be able to give you a rundown on what to do but my game doesn’t get here until next week.
Quoted from Rob_G:I liked "Hallowed Be Thy Drain!".... But that may not be new...
Rob
It’s not.
Quoted from KLR2014:anyone got a link to the latest rule sheet ?
Only 2 rules. Hit the lit shots and don’t let the ball drain.
Quoted from Shredso:I looked these up and they seem to be unavailable, in the states at least. Is this the right speaker?
https://www.crutchfield.com/S-rZ8tHgKFr00/p_109STAGE5/JBL-Stage-502.html
2nd question, has anyone done this with any success? I suppose any halfway decent speaker would be an upgrade from the presumably very cheap stock speakers, but to be honest, I don't hate the sound of the stock pro speakers. There is typically more than one machine running when I'm in the gameroom along with some background music. I have upgraded multiple machines speakers and talked myself into thinking it was an improvement. Judging audio quality is so impossibly subjective.
I don’t bother. There are 8 pinball machines in the room and if more than one is being played, you can’t here them anyway.
Quoted from mollyspub:I own a pro as well and played a premium on location. NOT worth it
In your opinion. I think it is worth it.
Quoted from Fezmid:I went pro because the ramp and the lock seem to have issues, at least on the LE I played. Seemed like it was always broken and I didn't want to deal with it so went pro.
Have an LE. Never had a problem.
Quoted from Alex_swe:I know right! But there seems to be a 3 games only policy in our home :/
Change the policy. Hahaha
Quoted from Maken:As an owner of all three... I would say yes.
Surprisingly great code for a game not programmed by Lyman or Keith Johnson. We probably owe this to the unconventionally long development time that this layout had.
Agreed.
Quoted from Mancave:I think you will find that was said and meant in the Aussie vernacular! Not meant as a put down in the slightest, more a compliment!
Exactly.
Quoted from Strummy:This was a good adrenaline game for me. Would this be considered a respectable score? I was pretty psyched for it.
[quoted image]
I’m a great player and usually get about 3 billion but then I wake up.
I would be very happy with that score. My highest is about 400 mil.
