I played Iron Maiden pro last weekend for the first time and this machine kicks ass! It’s all I’ve been thinking about all week lol. Still trying to figure out the rules to optimize my score. IM pro is going to be my next pin for sure but it’s not expected to get on the production line till sometime next year. I’ll just have to keep dropping quarters on location to get my fix
Can’t wait to be an official member to the club!

I’m thinking about getting a NIB premium. Does stern install a factory playfield protector below the sarcophagus target? I know the early runs experienced a lot of dimpling with the ball dropping at this location.

Or should I just order the Cliffy carbon fiber protector?

Quoted from Sorokyl:

Did you already find a nib premium? They were sparse a couple of months ago, took me 5 dealers to find one.. you could probably find one but I think it'll be some hunting

I have not but I can get my name on the list for a 2024 run.

First time maiden here! Anyone have any suggestions on how to tweak or adjust the newton ball. Mine will get stuck and not register any hits towards mummy multi ball. It seems to have a “catch” it will get stuck in.

Quoted from Arcadecrazy:

I had the same problem i just grabbed the switch mount with some vice grips and bent it till the spoon was directly in the middle of the newton ball stick and it works fine now
It didn't take much but mine was popping off the spoon and staying there till it was hit by a ball from the side.

Interesting… mine is staying in the spoon but when hit hard enough the newton ball will stick in the back position. I’m thinking the compression spring might a little weak and not letting the ball reset the default position.

Quoted from pinballaddicted:

Your pin is missing. Look in the bottom of your cab.

That picture was me opening up the mech. I’ve put it back together and everything is working fine… I also did adjust the spoon so there’s a bit more pressure on the actuator.
Thanks for all the input!

Quoted from rai:

I just got the pin set up and find the mummy captive ball is not sensing hits. How do I adjusted?

I’ve had the same issue out of the box. I opened up the assembly and couldn’t see anything wrong what was installed. My newton ball kept getting stuck in the back position. I sent a video to my distributor showing them what was happening and this is what I got back from Stern.

“The captive ball has a shaft on the underside of the playfield and the point of this shaft sits ontop of what we call the "SPOON SWITCH"(see picture below). We have seen that the point of the shaft is jumping the spoon switch and the point is sitting on the outside of the spoon area. This being a new switch, It will need a small DOWN adjusmnet in order to make the shaft to come back to the center of the spoon switch. New Spoon switches tend to do this and will eventually wear in and lossen up the more it gets played”

I don’t believe that the actuator was jumping the spoon. The reason I say this is because I had the playfield lifted when I was doing some problem solving and not once did it jump the spoon when I was

What I did was carefully adjust the leaf spring. Now my machine plays 100% perfect. Hope this helps.

Thank you, this is very good information.
So I'm in Europe (Scandinavia), can anyone tell me what the good places are to buy pins in my region?
