Can someone answer the following questions please?

Does this shaker work in the game? I've heard guys having issues with the shaker activating the slam tilt. Is that still an issue?
https://www.pinballlife.com/shaker-motor-kit-rev-c-for-stern-spike-spike-2-system-games.html

What mirror blades work for this game? Will these work even thought they say they are for Stern DMD?

#5550 4 years ago

That sucks. How many plays on that?

#5551 4 years ago

Can someone explain to me how the drop targets work in this game???

#5556 4 years ago

For those of you with shakers installed:

I'm about to install one in my Maiden Pro. There are no holes in the bottom of the cab, so I'll just drill them. Are you installing these shakers on the left or the right side of the coin box (when looking at the machine).

#5558 4 years ago
Quoted from MikeS:

There should be t-nuts already on the inside-left front of the cabinet. You don't need to drill holes.

I'll have to double check tonight. I looked in there and never saw them, which I thought was really odd.

Quoted from Bohdi:

Nothing. It will say something if I hit a flipper, otherwise, all the lights are on etc. But no sound whatsoever

Have you tried reinstalling the new code?

Quoted from PinMonk:

Not sure what you're saying? Which target? Which ramp?
What's your machine pitch set to? That's the most common reason for crappy shooting Maiden.

I believe he is referring to the center ramp and target. There are no other ramps with targets.

Quoted from WizardsCastle:

I played a Maiden at my distributor this past week, and now I feel like there is something off on my game.
Hit the target (off ramp) on the fly is pretty much impossible. Trapping the all and hitting it from the left flipper works, but rarely from the right.
The Pro model I played felt way snappier, and I felt like I could make that ramp more easily.
Any suggestions?

I would make sure your flippers have adequate gap from the bushings. Use an actual flipper gap tool. Also make sure they are aligned properly (holes in play field as a guide). Lastly, check the EOS switches and make sure they aren’t getting activated too early. They should open at the end of the flipper stroke.

That center ramp is also a bit easier from the key flipper on my machine, but I can still make it all day from a cradle on the right flipper.

Since the stern topper is unobtanium, what are you guys going with? I’m really digging the tilt topper.

Quoted from Habeboo:

FYI We are not currently taking new orders for the Iron Maiden topper. We are catching up on orders now for that unit. Producing new Eddie casts in March so check back in April if you’re interested. Thanks

Habeboo Aw damn! Was just about to order one up!

Hey guys. What's the best way to add spotlights to a premium?

#11048 2 years ago

Is there supposed to be a rubber on this post?

I left this club a few years ago. People were talking about how to make the auto plunge work correctly every time.

I rejoined the club. Guys are still talking about the same thing. Three years later. Lol!

Just accept it won’t work correctly every time. It makes life so much easier. It doesn’t affect game play in any way.

Quoted from mattosborn:

Maybe I'm in the minority, but I don't like those arches. The Egyptians are not really known for archways.... Only notable one is the gate at the Temple of Khonsu, which these appear to be somewhat inspired by. But I don't think they blend in very well with the other artwork on the game.

Agreed. Looks decent in pictures, but not as good in person. It’s just smooth too. Not textured or painted to match the look it’s going for.

#11451 1 year ago

Yeah the Gus mod makes the arch mod look bad. Post the results!

Got to see Maiden last night. All I can say is WOW! I’ve seen a lot of shows. This was hands down the best concert I’ve ever been to.

Quoted from Pinball-Metal:

Found a few old sets of side rails cleaning up
Will probably bring to Pinball Expo
[quoted image]

Yeah I’d take a set of the maiden rails and hinges too.
