Question for everyone. If I buy a NIB pro what should I expect as far as the auto eject hitting the loop and is there a way to adjust the game if it is not making it consistently. To me a 90% success rate seems pretty bad but maybe that's what everyone is experiencing. This may be the deciding factor between me buying NIB or looking for a HUO one with a perfect auto eject. That just seems like a pretty essential gameplay feature especially on the pro (where it shoots the balls up there for start of trooper multiball)

Is there somewhere that lists what the effects of installing competition mode on the game are?

This is precisely why I waited a year to find a huo game rather than buying new and why I'm holding off ordering a jp. These kinds of issues on a nib game are unacceptable to me and unfortunately all too common place.

I was in the same boat and eventually ended up with a HUO pro that was dialed in and don't regret it a bit. Premium is certainly nice but after putting some more time in on the pro I don't find myself missing the "upgrades" of the premium and I think the flow is ever so slightly better on the pro.

On my Pro, I have noticed that I do not always get credit for lighting EDDIE letters when hitting the left orbit shot (to the left of the mummy captive ball). I haven't noticed any problems with getting credit for orbit shots though (still get spinner hits/orbits/ball lock etc. just sometimes no eddie letter). Is this a bug or is there something that needs adjusted on my game?

Yes the white insert is definitely lit for Eddie letter. This happens even from the start of a game when all Eddie shots are lit.

I can only assume (hope) that all you people reaching valinor are playing non-tournament mode games with extra balls turned on. I'm a pretty decent player and still haven't gotten to valinor once in the 10 years i've owned the game. That's what I love about it. And probably why iron maiden keeps growing on me now that I own it. I've got my game set up hard and I assume it will be damn near forever before I see everything the game has to offer.

Isn't powerslave the mummy multiball? Same way trooper is trooper multiball and not an individual mode.

Are there any videos out there of can i play with madness mode? I've got a pro so I'll probably never see it myself.

Can you revert back to old code after installing newer code? I assume the new code will be great, but I think IM is a nearly perfect game as it is and I would hate to update only to find that I liked it better with 1.06.

When updating should I pick full or quick update? I couldn't tell from the readme file what the difference is.

I remembered to take pictures of all my high scores before updating but forgot to document my adjustment settings. Think i've got them all mostly back the way they were other than speech/music attenuation which I'll have to mess with some. Only played a few games but definitely worth losing the high scores for.

Has anyone made a topper out of the 18" cyborg eddie figure? If so, how did you attach it to the game?

It's not a new mode, it's a mode that was previously only available on the prem/Le. But now if you want to pay more to get stern IC you can have it on the pro too which is pretty shitty but not surprising.

Finally got to the beast last night after owning the game for a few years (tournament mode, xballs off, semi-tight tilt). That was quite a thrill but after seeing how far away I still was from Run to the Hills I don't think there's any way I'd ever get there even turning extra balls on.
