Chalk another one up in the LA area. Temporary setup before it gets kicked out of the living room and into the gameroom
Cab art truly does look way better in person.
Havent played a game yet as I have to welcome it in with a fresh coat of wax, but its finally home!

one little question :
there is a jukebox mode like ac/dc ? or not ?
thanks
Nope
Quoted from DragonPin:How much does the Shaker motor add to this game?
Considering getting a shaker for my Pro
thanks!
Get a shaker, integration is great and youll love it. I recommend pbl shakers as they are less expensive but better designed than the stern shakers. It has a bolt you can tighten on the motor housing too if it rattles compared to the stern shakers which do not have that bolt.
I had to drill and install a bolt and lock washer to a stern shaker installed by my dist which sounded like a lawnmower when I got it. After installing I can now feel my shaker instead of the whole house hearing it.
I hate the switch locations of spike games as well.
They should have at least wired a switch to the traditional location. Now I have to streeetch for each spike game to turn it on in a tight lineup.
I know there are remote plug in adapters but still... bleh!
Congrats on the new pin!
Quoted from ATLpb:-flipper strength (game ships with purposely weaker flippers)
Are people changing the actual flipper coil or changing coil strength in settings? Im not in front of my game right now but is there an adjustment for the flipper strength only or is the adjustment for all coils?
I have mine setup at 7 degrees (actually I think its 6.8 last I checked) and I have been feeling the flippers to be a little on the weak side but didnt know if it was just me.
Quoted from Billy16:There are adjustments for both coil strength and the all the flippers. I tried "hard" and went back to "normal", as that seems to work well enough.
Thanks Ill have to check that out later. Glad there are 2 different settings instead of just1 for all coils!
Quoted from Who-Dey:Or the beautiful black haired women Gryszzz.....even if it is a wig.
Or our purple and blue haired vixens!
It's almost certainly that switch.
I had that same switch holding ball issue when I first unboxed the game. Fortunately I was able to adjust that switch without replacing it and its been working fine since.
Quoted from Who-Dey:I had the the Mummy Newton ball sitting forward a tad and the ball wouldn't sit on the switch because of it. I couldn't even tell that it was the newton ball causing the problem and thought it was the switch so i tried to bend the switch a little and ruined it. Its hard to bend that type of steel.
So anyway i had to replace the switch and the new switch as luck would have it didnt sit up high enough for the ball to make the switch register. .......just my luck! I definitely was afraid to try and bend it again so i cut little small strips of duct tape and put them over the switch and i think two strips was enough to make it start registering. So far so good and im not touching it. That was not a fun job changing that switch out.
Did you use one of these to adjust the switch?

They are a must have for adjusting switches. Makes life much much easier when adjusting any leaf type switch.
ulat_rev_a (resized).jpgQuoted from KnockerPTSD:You are missing the most essential maiden mod. Vireland's colored mode tree seems like an item that should have been factory. Looking at a stock white maiden seems wrong. Color coded modes for the win

Agree but get the whole set. It should have been factory like this. Great mods!
Quoted from mikeking:Question about the Egypt topper: Does it flash or give feedback based on gameplay or just cycle through patterns? It says "fully interactive" in the description but it isn't really clear what that means.
I think I'm just trying to justify to myself dropping 400 bucks on it.
It flashes according to gameplay.
It actually is a cool topper and looks WAY better in person than pics show.
Is it way overpriced...big Yep.
Does it fit the theme perfectly and look like it belongs there...also big Yep.
These toppers are uber expensive, but for my favorite games I still find myself buying them.
If you don't mind the $$$ to drop, the print quality is good and the light flashes work well with the game as well, if you get it, I think you'll like it. I really like mine!
Quoted from Who-Dey:That looks fantastic. Do you get those from Stern or from distributors? Would be hard for me to pull the trigger at 400 dollars but damn that looks nice.
Thanks, I got mine from a distributor, gameroomguys.com to be specific. They are the same price everywhere.
Definitely no argument from me on it being super expensive and overpriced for what you get......but I still like it
Quoted from newtoit:Has anyone installed the custkm egypt side armor on the premium? Please share photos id like to see how it looks.
Do you mean this one, the stern one? If so here you go, I like it!:
(Place is a mess right now so ignore all the stuff around and under the pin! Just took some quick pics)
