I always do my coin doors as I think it completes the look very nicely. To disassemble is very simple, it's literally just a few screws. I did mine in red, specifically Illusion Cherry.

Quoted from parsonsaj:

Illusion Cherry looks great! I think I would be 100% in for that color, or one of the other reds, if I didn't have a GnR sitting right next to my Imdn. I don't want it to look like I was trying to match the powdercoat color between the 2 games...
My wife seems to think we need to do some sort of medium blue color, but I am not sold on that. I could see a darker blue, or a gold/yellow, or perhaps one of the purples.
Thanks for the advice!

I have Illusion Royal on my GB Prem and it's beautiful.

Quoted from Rushlarz2112:

Hey guys never post here but love the community and read plenty...looking at traveling for a IM Pro...has 1500 plays. HMU one owner...would you expect to find a pretty nice machine or something that would need some touch ups...would love to pair a IM next to Rush...thanks for the the input.

I had to fly there and drive back with mine, well worth the trip.

You are able to hold a flipper up to see status screen ? Say what, which one? Since when?
I know about the end of ball bonus screen and getting to see shard count but during game play, I’ve never seen it.

Pretty much all if not all sterns offer this status view function and have for quite some time.

Quoted from STVPIN:

Mine minted in Dec 2021 came with this metal protector. It really takes a beating and didn't last long. Definitely better than nothing, I'd do it for sure if it was the only option. Cliffy's carbon fiber protector is there now, so far it looks like it's going to be a better protector.
I tried to get a good image showing the bends, you can almost see it. Somewhat like a "crease" down the middle from the repeated blows, it not only lifted up on the ends so the ball would get stuck or disrupted by it, but it lifted up all the way down the length of the sides also, like a taco shell. I had to remove it after about 600 plays.[quoted image]

I'm not connecting where this goes. Anyone have a photo of it installed on the game?

At risk of stating the obvious, have you run the diverter test? Does it show the switches open/closed appropriately? You should also be able to check that specific switch in the general switch test. There might be something else stopping the diverter at the correct location and it may not be triggering the diverter up switch. Those alerts happen when a switch goes a certain amount of time without triggering. Generally it just needs an adjustment but sometimes the switch may need to be replaced.

Any advice on doing this without making them look like ass?
I tried a small patch and it looked kind of streaky, like it was leaving scratches. I'm guessing as I do the whole piece it will blend in but I didn't want to go any further and mess things up.
Do you do a few swipes in one direction? I was doing a circular motion which I'm guessing is wrong.
Also do you remove the right and left ramps when you do them or just do them in the cabinet?

Definitely wrong. Stainless steel has a grain to it just like wood. Go with the grain in one straight motion.

To me it's not about "better or worse", my measurement is; is the pro a good enough representation of the game not to justify the price step up to a premium for what you get for the price. For me, the pro checks that box. This is coming from someone who literally only goes for premium or LE as you can see from my past/current collection. The only other pro I've owned (I don't count the Tron), was Metallica which I sold and bought an Prem for the hammer, cross, and lighting (frankly just for the hammer... I love that thing).

I need to read more on what the toxicity is and the dangers of it because I really like the definition on that model

Agreed, that is one hell of a 3d print!

looks a very nice concert, who are they? Rammstein?

I'll take "Concerts by the band in the title of the thread" for $800 Alex...

PM'd.
If anyone else wants the 1.10 code for pro with the standard songs but updated videos let me know. I kept my copy when the original user who was sharing it sent it to me.

Sounds interesting, I've never heard of this. What is it exactly?

He does such great work. I was very tempted to have him do my JP but just couldn't swallow the price in the end. It's too bad that he's overseas as that compounds shipping and the fact that he needs to use new parts vs our existing pieces. Good luck with the sale!

#12257 1 year ago

I've only played the pro and really enjoy it. My wife and I actually played it at a show and it's one of the few games (only 2 ever) that my non pinball playing wife turned to me and said, "this is fun, we should get one". I'm sure ignorance is bliss but no fomo since I don't know what I'm missing.

Quoted from Sleal16:

Quick light and paint scheme test on topper idea (interactive cathedral diorama) that's been in the works for a while. I'm at....10% complete designing and this demo is half of that, lol. Will be a year type thing knowing how constantly nitpicky I am and keep making changes. Need to figure out best way to print some stuff out for the windows to light up (like the plastics in the game).
Got the clairvoyant pretty much figured out. Got a few interested dms about it and will reach out over the next week. Those will be first batch, and I'll end up posting a pre-order link here on pinside for the second, March, batch (roughly 10 a month).

Looks like the start of a very cool speaker light mod kit in the works to me!

I would suggest the 3m releasable hangar type of adhesive or something similar.

IMDN is the only Pro level pin I own (opting for LE/Prem on all my others) and for me personally, wouldn't upgrade to the premium for $3k. That's mainly a testament to how good the game is in general that you don't need the extra stuff for it to be a great pin.

I had Metallica BB decals that wouldn't stick and I got new ones with no issues from Stern.
