It would be cool if there were some sort of weighted bonus for finishing a song. Mariner would be worth the most by a bit. Or maybe even have that accomplishment tracked on the high score table.

So I just rememberd while I was playing yesterday I got a few balls hung up on the drop targets and if you just let it sit there for like 20 seconds they will spring back up and shoot the ball off back into play. I swear that they stayed back up. Is that right, or should they remember which ones you had already knocked down?

That's normal behavior for a ball search. There's no way for the game to individually reset drop targets so they all pop back up.

There is no way for the machine to knock a target over. Something has to physically knock it over.
I know there's been a lot of praise about this game's layout and how much it flows and opens itself up to so many shots but the genius part about it is that the layout completely changes when you are in multiball play. All of a sudden this open layout changes because when you have more balls in play the upper flippers block the 2 easiest shots in the game (orbits) and force you to take more difficult shots (ramps) and play more in control instead of fast and loose. It also makes it difficult to trap up and pick off shots with one of the flippers because of this. You have to work on techniques such as ball transfers and using flipper staging way more than you have to do in a 2 flipper game. I think it's a game that will drastically improve your multiball skills the more you play it.
Another confirmation of PBL Shaker motor not working on the Iron Maiden. Slam tilt game one.
For those getting stuck balls on the drop targets, check to see if the target is flat with the playfield, mine were not, you can adjust the height with the 2 screws on the mech.
Also the top up post was not level with the playfield and I had to adjust that.
Made an adjustment on the shooter lane as well, auto plunge is working good now. Manual plunge seems to suck due to not enough spring tension.

It isn't the music on our Iron Maiden that is too loud it is the flipper mechs. These are the loudest mechs of any pin I have ever owned. Have they changed something on these? I have had several sterns and never had anything this loud.

I actually noticed the same thing; the coils do seem louder than my other sterns.

It could just be because there are 4 of them? I used to have a TSPP and those flippers were super loud because there were 5 of them.

3. Music isn't bothering me much (Although the volume is cranked up or anything)

So Keith posted to facebook last night that the plunger is no designed to send the ball all the way around the upper loop on the plunge, only with the auto plunger just as an FYI so nobody else goes through 3 different plunger springs to find this out.
Also is anyone else having an issue where the GI lights at the top of the backboard go out for extended periods of time? I played about 5 games last night they were on when I started, went out sometime during game 2, didn't come back on again until ball 3 of game 4. Can't see any rhyme or reason why it is happening. Any tips would be greatly appreciated, thank you.

That’s one of them. The super skill shot is a near full plunge and then a shot on the inside loop
well I got my hands on a pro today as the last step before moving forward with the pro (it's all I need). The game really plays well. It kind of reminded me of JD and MET combined in a standard body. A lot of things to shoot for and overall felt VERY nice. I was surprised stern is giving this away as a pro. Unfortunately, I just couldn't deal with the music which is a damn shame but I tried and gave it an hour or so but it's just not for me.
Overall - great addition to stern's lineup and what has to be an absolute dream pin for IM fans. It was b/w this and TnA and although I wish TnA had more to shoot for, it's the total package for me, music especially. Again - this is a great pin and I'm glad to see Stern put out a title with this much value on a pro. Enjoy it guys!

yeah I hear you on this but there something about changing all the music that might be too much. I have my MET updated with new music but it def has some MET songs still on. Def an option.

I installed in my game and it seems to have solved the shaker issue. I've got about 5 games in and so far so good! The shaker is used pretty sparingly (even on max settings) but has a nice effect. No other changes in the code from what I've noticed. The update was tiny and installed really quickly.
For giggles. 160 games in. About 30 of these plays are from test games + other people including my 5 year old.

Only thing I wasn't crazy about is the left ramp with the jets. Have you guys found this shot to be difficult?

i just put up the kit in black for the base line. People can modify it to their liking with colors of their choice.

They should be tiny LED boards for all colors.
The ramps are both not super easy shots, not hard but not the easiest. The left ramp isn;t as tough as your usual Lawlor shot

on a full plunge it will go all the way around, you have to do less then a full plunge to make the super skill shot to feed the upper left flipper happen.
