I got my premium yesterday. Looks great. Going to let it set for a bit to cure playfield. Left it open last night and the whole house smelled like clear coat this morning. Mine shipped with .97 code.

Well the tilt was barely set so I don’t count it as too real. But cyborg multiball is very lucrative as well as 150,000,000 on hallowed be thy name

It means he thinks it's beneficial to give the playfield finish extra time to cure beyond the weeks or months it sat at the factory before Stern installed it. It's unlikely to have any discernible effect.

Mine smells too, but my cabinet was also painted...

Playfield is already cured, set the game up and crank the volume up and have fun!

I scheduled the delivery for my Premium, but talk about a clusterfuck. I got a text message saying to call R+L to schedule delivery for either this Thursday or Friday. I call and they offer Saturday at first, then Friday, which I agree to. Then I called back to see if delivering earlier on Thursday was a possibility, and they are like "Thursday the 14th?". Then say that they don't expect to actually get it until the 11th now. She put me on hold for a bit, then got back to me and said that she can put it in for this Thursday, but since they haven't gotten it yet, they can't guarantee it will actually happen. What ever happened to "3 days transit time"? Seems like all of these freight shippers are garbage.

New England Motor Freight is bringing mine. A live person left me a message and a live person answered when I called back to schedule. That's a plus!

I was told by my SoCal distrib that my premium shipped last thursday and should arrive with them this week, haven't heard a concrete day yet.

What is a PRO LIGHTING UPGRADE?

It’s when a professional, usually an electrician, enters your home and installs newer, better light fixtures, often in the form of pot lights, led lighting etc. We just had a pro lighting upgarade and highly recommend it.

Just listened to Bruce's autobiography on Audible. Good listen / read if you're a fan.

I just replaced some of the GI with the red and it works like the premium turning off the white GI and going all red.

I thought I would post this up if anyone is looking to upgrade their instruction cards on their Iron Maiden to replace the yellow cards. The other thread asked me to post this so I figured I would get it to you guys here too. Just print on high gloss photo paper and then cut it in the center to make both cards. Enjoy!

I got it to print correctly at 125%. Weird, but that's how it scaled properly.

Ordered my Premium from Classic Game Rooms 5/23, shipped R&L, arrived 5/31. No issues out of the box. Came with code .97 updated to .98 right away. Fantastic game! So happy with the Premium version.

Eerie that Stern is releasing a game AND the code is done. Other than squashing bugs or correcting for score imbalances, this one is fully baked. Every Maiden that goes out for many years will be leaving the factory complete. This is what Stern should be striving for with each release. This is the way pinball companies should be selling games, and it is the right and responsible response.

For Stern, JJP and Spooky it has been complete code only after the last units ship. Maiden breaks this cycle for Stern, as TNA did for Spooky and hopefully POTC will do for JJP. Sure these games were predeveloped so maybe Stern needs to add three months to the cycle of each starting now. These pin companies have been running to integrate LCD for a few years and have learned much. Maybe now they know how to estimate and implement development times with some accuracy. And if the games isn't finished, it shouldn't be offered for sale. It blows my tiny mind that this finally happened and in my lifetime. Joining the Maiden family soon.

Got my Premium today, and it's absolutely amazing. I did have some switch issues, and I think I got most of them sorted. I do still have one issue, hoping maybe someone can give some advice before I call my distro in the morning... So every time the ball starts the Light Lock drop target drops and then goes back up 3 times, and then stays down. I figured it was just a switch issue, but it's actually an opto. So I went into the switch test, and found that the switch seems to be working perfectly fine, it only shows closed when the drop target is down. Any ideas on what might be causing that? Maybe it's just the coil firing that's vibrating it in the right way to cause it?

What’s the big deal? Number of the beast wizard mode! I can play this thing like Mozart plays a piano.

How do you play it?

My guess is it has to do with collecting the shards if you complete the modes, which are timed down, so you have to hit them quick to even get them.
Edit: just a guess, could be totally wrong.
