Thank you much buddy There’s no better rock band for a pin theme (or all around for that matter ) than IMDN and the longtime legacy of Eddie .Now I’m going to be looking for high quality planes to install on the right ramp/return area .I purchased a model spitfire that I started assembling and will paint before breaking it apart as a crashed plane on the Aces High plastic in front of this light tower (shown here) .Speaking of , Does anyone have any good ideas for the lamp shade ? I want something that goes with the theme to cover all those GI light covers .Lmk if anything comes to mind .

We have some of the same taste, Maiden was my first bought it in 2018 used off a guy with 100 plays on it. My son became a fan just from playing the pinball, he went to the concert last year! But yea, Maiden and 007 here too!

Getting IMDN back on my radar for possible future purchase. Are the mech issues on the premium (newton ball, sarcophagus lock) still a thing? Or finally addressed on newer runs?

Honestly, I have a 2019 run I got used and had to make minor tweaks. It has been a non issue after so I wouldn’t worry about those things.

I'd pick up the pace if you want a NIB. they're running it in about a month, and most distributors are sold out already I think. I found one after calling around quite a bit. If they do run it again it won't be for another year, but that will be the 6th year... so who knows.

Thanks for the info. Until they announce a final run, I’m not too worried. I’ve owned it (pro) twice. Great game. Just thinking premium next time around. There’s a ton of pinball options, so not sweating it too much if I miss out.

As much as the original red IC is so ugly, it's not that hard to dress it up. I hit it with some black sharpie and glued this image on.

Also , is it just me or does everyone fist pump when hitting the left ramp for mummy lock ? Just with the sound of an old ,creaky stone door opening to nailing the ramp for the lock is such a great pinball moment ,I can’t help myself .It’s 100% impulse no matter how many times I do it

Here is my spitfire - it’s a metal model plane I found on EBay - it also works great to knock down the ball that airballs sometimes off that lightning fast ramp! The left wing works perfectly for that

If you haven't seen them, yet, I'd like to give a shout out for these inexpensive yet fetching flipper button protectors.

They took about 2 minutes to install and look great in person. I bought a set for this IMDN and my JP - couldn't be happier for the price!

Just search "pinbawlers" if you want to look him up and support a brother - I think they're new (I've never seen anything similar), but they are a clever idea.

They look great but please nobody buy these to go inside a pinball machine.

The scale of the full bod figures is gonna be too small.
The design of the figures does not lend itself well to coming in contact with a steel ball (too many fragile bits)
The resin material used to cast miniatures to obtain this fantastic detail is a very brittle, fragile material that will shatter on impact with said ball.
Unless you're a somewhat skilled miniature painter, you won't be able to make these look decent to justify the cost.

Stick with the action figures.

Who here has and recommends mirror blades for this game?
Sometimes playfields just don’t seem suited to mirrors. It depends a lot on how much stuff is close to the cabinet walls.

Normally I would say that mirror blades look really sweet in a game..... except Maiden. It goes against the dark underworld/Egyptian tomb theme.

Agreed - actually I should give thanks to RVH who suggested the tilt graphics heiroglyphics blades - because they look far better in my machine than the official Stern ones did.

Iron Maiden LE owners. Looks like we need around 20 more people to rate the machine to have it listed on the Top 100. Only the Pro and Premium are currently listed. If we can do this, that would be great!

I just joined the cub and ran into my first challenge. Every time I get the first mummy lock, the ball gets locked and then the game goes into a perpetual ball search. Any ideas on where to start in correcting this issue. I played a handful of games where this was never an issue. Thanks, in advance.

If the ball goes behind the backboard and the game doesnt detect it, switch might not be triggering. If you run a switch test from the service menu, try pressing down on the rollover switch that's just behind the area where the ball gets trapped. The test should yield "load ramp" as switch result

If it doesnt trigger easily, could be faulty position of the the push down metal piece, the switch itself, or something with the wiring. Each part would need to be inspected

Driving to see a premium I may grab tomorrow, curious on thoughts with premium Vs Pro.

Having a weird issue with trooper MB locks on my Pro:

After qualifying ball locks with the drop targets I shoot the center spinner for a single ball lock. The Posts fire as usual to hold the ball, but then something is triggering and granting me an additional ball lock. So essentially I’m getting two ball locks on one shot.

Has anyone ran into this issue before?

I’ve only played the pro a couple times so I can’t give a honest assessment ,but the premium was my second purchase and still to this day , my #1 pinball of all . I have a GZ prem and newly acquired Foo LE and it still holds the crown .Just wait until you see when I’m done with this pin

Just installed my pop bumper Pharaoh from Pinbawlers - my 6 yr old keeps making me get more Eddie figs! I put the Piece of Mind fig from eBay over the left ramp so I had room for Pharaoh. They look so damn happy together.

Here’s Oliver celebrating his 70 million score - albeit with 5 balls. Still pretty good for a kindergartener!

Thanks Eric I’m waiting on my spitfire who is going to be chasing this Zero with some kind of light show resembling explosions when the right ramp is hit .Also going to give Liors backboard a custom paint job to give it that Egyptian wall art coloring .Have a few more things planned .There’s no better pin to mod buddy UP the IRONS !!!

Ok i installed the art of pinball back panel and getting one alert. See picture below and let me know your thoughts. When I lift the playfied and run the test it works 100 percent . It's only when the game is in the full position that it moves up and appears to geep trying to move up....
