Hopefully TSX or MXV can revisit code and fix it up.

I have also noticed that when I change the “track selection between balls” to “NO”.

ALL the tracks becomes small loops.
Just keeps looping the same riff over and over.
Never plays the whole song. And this happens to ALL the songs.

Anyone else have this issue ?

I also have this set to No. I think the short repeating loop from the beginning is just when the ball is in the shooter lane. Once you plunge, I believe the music picks up from where it left off on the previous ball. Still, it is a bit annoying.

Godzilla plays too long.

Don't get me wrong, Godzilla is an awesome game and totally worthy. Incredible code, sounds and light show.

Both games have nice flow and great shots.

I just really like the style and pace of IMDN such a well balanced game.

Im just disappointed the last code update is flawed.

To try and be more specific, when locking balls for Trooper MB the 2 up posts in the rear middle of orbit will no longer activate and load the lock. A new ball would then come into play. Ill try take a video to show what im on about.

Does anyone know if it is possible to roll back code ? Tried it ?

So doesnt even try to hold even the first ball in MB?
Just throwing a guess from when my game would not keep the posts up. If anywhere else on the playfield a switch is triggered while trying to load up the balls for MB, the game sees as you already are in progress and will pull the posts down early. This would happen the second ball doesnt make the orbit to load it, and hits something random. Posts come down and the third ball is just spit out. So maybe you might have something triggering and thinks a ball is loose somewhere when its not.

Thanks everyone for the input and suggestions. Of course now I am thinking about getting the Expression Lighting and the 2112 Shooter Knob and if I do that I will have to install the 1.10 code anyway.

I don't think this has anything to do with the "new" code. I have not seen this problem on any copy of IMDN.

Sounds like you have a problem with your game, not code. But maybe there is something I don't know about that you're talking about. But my Trooper lock works fine and always has, far as I know.

I understand,

I definitely noticed a change in Trooper lock after loading Rayday code at 1.11 no change on latest 1.12.

I thought maybe because he is such a top player he did this to stop interrupt of flow ?

Nothing in the read me ?

Perhaps I do have a switch problem ? Nothing shows up in SW test though.

Anyone have 1.10 kicking around ? I must remember to save old code on a drive somewhere. I would like to rollback to test.

I'll check further and let you guys know.

- Shoot Again - fixed an issue where the display would show the wrong player name for which player can Shoot Again

- System - Updated to V3.22.0 on OS: V2.7.0

- Corrected potential game reset issue.

- When entering a WiFi password, the previous characters will be displayed as an asterisk.
The WiFi password will be displayed as all asterisk when entering the setup screens or scanning
the WiFi setup QR code.

- Added Service Menu Tech Alert when weak signal strength is detected. The signal strength
and SSID will be displayed. An average signal strength < 40 is considered weak. A weak
WiFi signal may contribute to a slower or inconsistent connection which may effect the abilty
to login or download software updates. Signal strength can be improved by the use of an
inexpensive WiFi extender. A wired Ethernet connection can also be used in cases where WiFi
signals are problematic.

- Added Standard Adjustment "ENABLE HOME TEAM IN COINPLAY", default value of NO.
Setting this to YES will allow Insider Home Team to be available for machines not
set to Free Play. Normally "USE INSIDER HOME TEAM" is only available in Free Play
mode. Many home players, who choose to use their game in Coin Play, have requested
the ability to enjoy Home Team! Setting this this adjustment to YES will default the Home
Team Guest Retention to Never. If you wish a different setting you will have update that
adjustment after enabling Home Team in CoinPlay. Home Team is not available for machines
registered to a Pro account operating in a commercial environment.

- Added Standard Adjustment "REMOVE FRACTIONAL CREDITS". Values are:
"NEVER" and "AFTER X MINUTES IDLE", where X is between 30 and 240.
The default value is "NEVER". If the game is idle (no coin or flipper
switch activity in attract mode) for X minutes, any fractional credits will
be removed. Whole credits will NOT be removed.

- Added Standard Audit "FRACTIONAL CREDITS REMOVED", which will track the number of

There is no problem with the code that I'm aware of and theres no reason to roll back the code. Explain exactly what your game is doing and when, and I'm sure we will figure it out. Video wouldn't hurt. And this game does rule .

Thank so much to all for patience and providing feedback comments.

Firstly I have confirmed no switch errors.

Middle orbit posts for Trooper lock must be triggered by left inner spinner and right orbit opto.

After 1.11 update I noticed different Lock Sequence for Trooper MB.

I took a video today

Trooper MB
Ball 1 Lock @ 1:51
Ball 2 Lock @ 2:20
Ball 3 Lock @ 2:43

You can see Lock is no longer ( held by up posts ) "staged" as it was before

and found a video from back in late 2022 with 1.10 code

Ball 1 lock @ 3:20 yes this is RH orbit lock. You can see Lock is Staged.
Ball 2 Lock @ 3:32 Staged with guitar slid sound effect on release.
Ball 3 Lock @ 3:53 All balls fully staged with super cool Trooper start sequence.

Quick question .Do I need IC to install any updates past 1.10 ? My machine has not worked with autoplunge and lower flippers not working .I’ve had quite a few people trying to figure this out including a Stern tech that has brought in a third part tech and while waiting to hear back someone had asked me if I’m on the latest code .I’ll try anything now but I wasn’t sure if I should install any codes past 1.10 .Any info will be greatly appreciated .

I have amended post 12853 and will attempt to figure out what is going on.

My mistake for jumping to conclusions, very misleading to me that problem occurred when I updated to 1.11.

I believe 1.11 and 1.12 will add IC capability to your game.

So if you want IC on your IMDN nothing to lose.

Guessing you may have a wiring problem between node boards ?

I’ve swapped Node 8 and 9 and purchased a new board installed in both spots and nothing still .Autoplunge does not fire in coil test , All 4 flippers fire in coil test , in switch test only upper flippers fire , Trough switch registers , no tech alerts , went thru every lamp all working , went thru all coils all working minus AP .My Maiden is haunted I guess haha .Sooooo aggravating .Yeah I plan on getting IC as soon as this thing is working proper .Since it won’t hurt to install may as well give it a go .Would I have to install 1.11 first or can I just install 1.12 ?

I have a similar problem sometimes with the 2nd up post not stopping my ball for trooper multiball lock. It’s intermittent. I almost wonder if it’s that metal protector under the ramp causing the ball to skip over the post on super hard shots that go screaming around that loop. That metal protector doesn’t seem as flush with playfield as it could be.

Or if it’s triggered by the spinner switch, do I need to make that spinner switch trigger easier/faster? Could a split second difference cause that post to catch or not catch a really fast shot around that loop?

The will give your game the system update.

I don't think it will fix the fault I'm sorry. But still try it.

While I'm trying to figure out my post issue, I will look at schematics for flippers and autopluge. Possibly a short circuit, although I think you may have an open circuit wire or 2 ?

Hopefully the 2 problems are related, It may be easier to start with autoplunge fault.

Also, I saw they’re being in production in May. Does anyone know if this is the last run because I only want to buy one new in box

That’s what I’m thinking .I did install 1.12 and all went well but the issues remain .I need to walk away for a bit .I know it’s nothing big as everything in the game is working and when I’m in switch test and I pull CN9 on node 8 then go to re connect the bottom flippers will fire until I push it all the way in then they stay erect until I opt out of test and it goes to attract mode .Then it goes back to not working . Thank you a bunch I really need some help with this

Imo this is one where you really don't miss a lot on the Premium. The underworld scoop is fine but it's a scoop. Captive ball at the orb makes things a little less dangerous. Really you only miss the sarcophagus lock, but having rented a Premium before purchasing a Pro I can't say I feel like I am missing out. The core of the game - shots, code, tunes - remain regardless of trim level.

As far as I know this is the last run - better get it while you can!

The pro/prem debate is/will be endless and everyone has an opinion so it's just something you have to work out yourself. Both sides have valid reasons for their choices, just comes down to your personal choice. Some prefer the Prem just on the artwork alone and some Pro owners will bring up the "issues" with the newton ball on the Prem and say it's not worth the hassle....etc..etc..etc.
I played a Pro first and then bought a Prem later on NIB. For my own choice i'm glad i went with the Prem and i've not had bugger all problems with the machine in over 3 years. This will be most definitely the last run i would suspect as there was talk the machine had been archived mid/late last year but then another run was announced. If you want a NIB and not 2nd hand then JUMP IN NOW!!!!! Either Pro or Prem you won't be disappointed

I just got on a list for Prem, had to reach out to 5 dealers to find one so I'd work quickly..I think Pro may be slightly easier to find.. unsure if last run..seems like they could definitely sell another run next year if license allows. If you only want NIB, better start making calls.

Pro vs premium was really rough. I'm a bit of a sucker and usually err towards premium, but you can't go wrong. Only ones I have ever played are pros and those two machines have made it probably.my favorite game. I do prefer the premium translite. But you can just buy that, so not a good reason..

Hey all just a friendly post for those who love their IMDN pros or premiums and want to add some bad ass button protectors to enhance the look and protect the art.

I just made these and these are probably my favorite protectors that I've designed of late, and wanted to share with the group.
the pics shown below are my prototype design that I just finalized the real product will be 3x thicker, not that you really can tell the thickness in these pics.

Gamecode v1.12 Sought

I just flashed an image of the currently posted IMDN gamecode from Stern's website to a freshly formatted SD card. I then asked Pinball Browser to read the code from the card per the instructions on the PB thread. Unfortunately, it's just not working. It seems okay initially; it prompts me to name the backup image it makes of the SD card image, but then, after a few minutes of translating the file, it finally says "Unknown Firmware."

I noticed that Pinball Browser creator Oliver lists gamecode v1.12 as compatible with the latest version of his software, but perhaps v1.13 is a no-go.

Can anyone here share a copy of v1.12 Premium gamecode? Alternatively, can anyone here report Pinball Browser success with v1.13?

- System - Updated to V3.36.0 on OS: V2.7.0

- Updated to nodeboard firmware/protocol v1.5.0

- Conagent 1.0.9

- Update selectable upper bound for Grand Champion, and HSTD 1-4 Awards. GC may be set up
to 5, HSTD #1 to 4, HSTD #2 to 3, HSTD #3 to 2, and HSTD #4 to 1. The default value for these has
not changed, just the ability to select a higher value.

- Adjust timing to address phantom broken trough sw tech alerts.

- Added game version number to lower left of attract mode Insider Connected screens.

- Updated Service Menu landing screen to graphics.

- Added Connectivity Icon (Ethernet or WiFi Signal Bars) to attract mode
Insider Connected screens. The Icon will be displayed in the upper
right corner with the number of credits/free play.

- Blink selected icon in Service Menu Dot Matrix menus

- Updated "Target Game Time" to guarantee the entire time for a single ball game.

Still holding out hope that they release code with the wizard mode selectable with the flippers. I spoke to Keith about this last year at an event and while he didn’t say yes or no, it’s something on the table but it all comes down to time for Rick(coder). He stated Rick was swamped with code work (again this was in August of 2022).

I also have a Maiden Prem on order. My best guess is end of May into early June. Always good to pad a week or so to the current schedules to keep expectations in check.

Even though Maiden was the only game listed in the May "Schedule" forecast for quite a while I always just assumed 2nd week and then 2-3 more weeks to get to my dist. I'm hoping end of May - early June for my Premium.
