How much do the Gus mummies for the pro run?

I believe they are $425

Yes it come with it (at least my 8/2021 build had it) it was still an issue and bent upward. I installed Cliffy’s carbon fiber protector probably a year ago and have had 0 problems since.

I wonder if a 3d printed tpu would just work as well as this….

#12459 1 year ago

#12460 1 year ago

I got it a couple years ago along with one for my JP and Guardians. I think it was from the mod couple. I’ll post back when I verify

It is clear acrylic etched and has a colored backlite.

Attention! There are now separate game records for Iron Maiden (Premium) and Iron Maiden (LE). The previously combined Iron Maiden (Premium/LE) is now the (Premium) record and a new (LE) record has been added. Details here: https://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/operation-premium-le

We have attempted to move the reviews/ad history based on the review text or ad title/description text, but it's not perfect. If you sold an LE or left a review that was meant for an LE, please check those and ensure they are pointed correctly. If not, shoot me a PM.

If you own/owned/wishlisted a Premium/LE but your game was (or wished to be) an LE, you'll need to update your collection accordingly.

If there are any LEs on location that you know of, please update the Pinside map accordingly.

Thanks for your help!

#12462 1 year ago

why does anyone care if a game is an LE or premium? They play exactly the same.

#12463 1 year ago
Quoted from Aflacjack:

[quoted image][quoted image]

btw, you might want to get rid of those plastic leg "protectors". They usually ruin the cabinet beyond the legs. But IM has the plastic wedges under the leg, so you really don't need them at all, as the leg never touches the cabinet to begin with. But those plastic leg destroyers should be put in the trash.

#12464 1 year ago
Quoted from CaptainNeo:

why does anyone care if a game is an LE or premium? They play exactly the same.

I think the more important benefit of fixing the database to split out the older Spike/2 Prem/LE machines is for the marketplace, so Prem and LE are now discrete entries instead of Prem/LE, which made no sense when you have one for sale. Muddies up the results. This should clarify listings substantially and allow easier filtering.

I finally assembled my Iron Maiden topper. I still need to print some larger lenses for some of the letter but it came out pretty sweet. There will be music activated LEDs on the back.

LE's are not always better looking, if ever. Just a different art package, but sometimes the LE is hideous compared to the pro or premium version.

Put money down on a premium today for the next run. Excited for this one - will fit my lineup very well.

#12471 1 year ago

Quick light and paint scheme test on topper idea (interactive cathedral diorama) that's been in the works for a while. I'm at....10% complete designing and this demo is half of that, lol. Will be a year type thing knowing how constantly nitpicky I am and keep making changes. Need to figure out best way to print some stuff out for the windows to light up (like the plastics in the game).

Got the clairvoyant pretty much figured out. Got a few interested dms about it and will reach out over the next week. Those will be first batch, and I'll end up posting a pre-order link here on pinside for the second, March, batch (roughly 10 a month).

Thanks! My plan is to offer them for sale. I’ve got a couple orders for it currently. one order for a DIY kit and one complete. It’s a pretty complicated though. It’s made up of 34 pieces with 130 hours of print time each.

Hah, but you know what, think that might work pretty badass. Might mess around with those kinds of adjustments later on to make it fit.

For the actual bigger piece, this is where I'm at with my draft.

I love IMDN - my favorite Elwin game currently! Consistently kicks my ass, but its fun shooting gameplay - including non-stop taunting - keep making me come back for more.

Sold my LE after receiving a hard to pass up (at the time) offer for it and quickly missed it. Bought a Premium and customized it to LE+ levels:

Like the mirror gold t-mold. I have a IMDn on order for May and am planning to do something similar. Want to try pairing it with mirror gold speaker acrylic with Kickers that have the gold center speaker.

How do you obtain cyborg multiball?

#12484 1 year ago
Quoted from newpinbin:

How do you obtain cyborg multiball?

Finish each block of the pyramid in the middle of the PF.

You need to complete a certain number things for each triangle in the pyramid:
Pop bumper hits
Target hits
Spinner flips
Orbits
Ramp hits

As you hit the minimum for each one, the triangle will light up. When you have them all lit you can start cyborg multiball with a hit to the center ramp. It's been a long time since I had a Maiden, but I feel like it tells you on screen how many more of each remain to do on the left side.

The user Pinball-Metal on here made the sde armor, I got a set from him for my maiden back in October, he does great work. Send him a dm, he might have a few sets left.

yes all correct and a new finding on my side is that once you hit minimum number of each and enter the Power modes if you hit the orb it will end the Power mode making it easier to start cyborg (otherwise you have to wait for the power mode to time out…although you are trading off scoring of course!)

I may start making these in plexiglass. Here is an example of a draft version for Metallica I am starting with. It would end where the flipper protector meets the side rail. Will post images once I have tested them on my game. Likely include some metallic paper under neigh the name to make it pop. Like what Stern does with the LZ siderails. Thanks.

For those wanting a less expensive mummy sculpt (~$20), I just added this mod to the game. Just two sided tape on each piece to secure. I ended up separating the sarcophagus lid from the mummy, which seems to work really well. Even “shakes” slightly when certain coils fire.

This is a nice option. If anyone would prefer a lit version, please let me know. I’ve finally finished and mounted the topper. I’ll be offering this as a DIY kit or fully assembled. Turn around time right now would be 3-4 weeks as there are already a few orders that I am currently filling.

Thanks to tips from fellow Pinsiders, I just added “Poor Man’s powdercoat” to the rails and lockdown bar. This mod uses vinyl “sparkle” wrap made for cars and installed with a hair dryer. Was a bit of a PITA on the corners, but the material is really forgiving. A pair of extra hands would avoid all of my redneck engineering. Looks and feels like powdercoat, but cost me $15!
