Quoted from Malibu-SS:Here is a rare game I picked up yesterday
1951 Gottlieb Mermaid
The last one of those I saw for sale went for SICK money.
Quoted from Ranhorton:A naked TX-sector.
That's straight up pinball porn!
Played TX for the first time last weekend. Absolutely brilliant soundtrack.
Naked, its the way i like my chicks, and my pins...
I am looking for an operation thunder as well, i have the last Whitewood populated PF for that game too...
2 naked chicks for me in the future LOL

A true grail pin. Congrats.
I bet there is not very many of the original 600 produced that are left in the world.

Automated Services may have one in CT. I think I remember seeing one there awhile back.
yes its a pile of money... and i'm not sure if he would ever get to a reasonable # on it...
I'm sure it will be there for years to come... LOL
but thanks Jeff fry !
I guess unpopular would be my Special Force. Nordman's first game and it's a crappy 6803 so it's not exactly what I would call reliable. but it's cheap ($400) and a really fun pin for the money. Those rocket launching buttons are cool and the hut-shaped pop bumpers are too funny.
As far as rare... I'd like a Sega Godzilla. I think they made around 500 or so of them. Would be on my list for sure.
I had a friend's Gottlieb Neptune in the house for a week last month. That was pretty cool and super rare as well. Under 300 made I think?
I just missed out on a somewhat local Robocop. That's another one I'd love to own for a bit.
Interflip Dragon would be cool too.
Okay.. I'm done
Would love a super Mario mushroom world in the collection. I own a Hardbody, a lot hate on that one but I love the balanced scoring and layout.

Cool layout and fun game. What kills it for some is the translight.
I own War head to head...harder than heck to find info and parts for it. This one I had never heard of till last year.
It would fall into the unpopular game / rare to find working games.
Owned and restored the hated Mario Andretti 1120 units (low by todays standards) - PF swap - trim- legs = it got the works.
Interestingly enough I sold it for $1600 and saw it less than a year later at auction sell for under $900.
Looked and played excellent...almost bought it back. Pictures are on IPDB.
Quoted from Pinball-is-great:A true grail pin. Congrats.

that would explain why the last 2 I saw for sale, went for nearly 20k.

i've got one. not working... lemme know...
I want a working Viza War (and a Gottlieb Challenger), but I'm a head-to-head whore.
I'm thrilled just to have an awesome Joust, a (claimed HUO) A.G. Soccer-ball that plays like a dream, and a nice USA Football.
Other rare or semi-rare members of my collection:
Alvin Gs:
Pistol Poker
Al's Garage Band Goes on a World Tour
Dinosaur Eggs
Night Moves
Transporter: The Rescue
Rocky
It's fun having pins that people have never seen, and giving them an experience they will remember.
Shoot, I was googling head to head pinball machines to see what was out there and stumbled upon someone who had blogged about my A.G. Soccer-ball! http://pinballsoul.com/rare-head-to-head-pinball-game-a-g-soccer-ball/
As I looked at the pics and started the video, the realization set in that I was watching my own pin!

dang... never seen one before until now.
where did you get that?
how many are there?
The first head to head pins I saw were in a Philadelphia collector's storage unit. He didn't want to sell either one though, particularly his USA Football, which he said he'd waited years to find. I always remembered him saying he pounced when it went up for sale and had it shipped from across the country. I decided I would do the same one day. Oddly enough, both of my Alvin G head to head pins were in the South, one in AL, the other in GA (they're now in my dining room! )
I've got a Midway Rotation VIII cocktail, just need to get the boards up to Canada for repair.
Here's a great site about the game and Tim Polzin's great work on bringing them back to life.
Quoted from Ranhorton:For some reason I like Big House.
Never played it but something about it intrigues me.
Just played today, great music, mel blanc like call outs
Doppy= we'll never get out of here
Tuff Guy= Shut up and keep diggin.
It has auger lift, blow the bridge with 2 or 3 multiball. All lites on PF go out and search lite swings back and forth at start of multiball.
Really fun. yeah you don't see it much.
I was trying to figure out the Movie/Jail reference in the BG. Closest I've come up with is old movie Big House USA.
Gottlieb Astro, I know it's not a very fun game, but I love the artwork. I found one in a friend's warehouse, unfortunately it had been catching water from a leaky roof for 20+ years and was pretty destroyed. I saved the head, but the body was destroyed.
An Asteroid Annie would be pretty neat too. Still kicking myself for not buying the one that came up on Mr Pin last year right before Allentown.
Quoted from charliex:Block -A -Shot Basketball. Can't find one for the life of me.

That game looks awesome! Out of all the games that could be remade, this one might be the easiest to do.
Verne's world built by spinball based on Jules Verne.
I owned it for about a week and someone wanted it more than me at the time so...
I wouldn't mind owning it again knowing more about pins now than I did then.
Quoted from charliex:Block -A -Shot Basketball.
Thanks for putting that one up. Really cool. The trajectory angles are like perfect.
Quoted from snyper2099:Torpedo Alley. I've had 2.5 of them... .
I've had 3 of them, and I had to smash one up and rob it for parts (which I still go to from time to time) pretty rare, I would say I've seen about 8-10 over the years.
Pink Panther is a very rare pin, I had only ever seen that game for sale twice and the second time I bought it. 90% of the Pink Panthers went over seas. Wish I didn't sell it.
Solar Fire had, is a rare one. Transporter the Rescue is pretty rare and a fun pin.
Quoted from Daywalker:I own a Playmatic Big Town
The Video shows the first play after Powersupply repair.
Nice machine thanks for sharing. I have never seen one.
Quoted from Kineticross:Transporter to the Rescue

Lights Camera Action
(Wow, lots of Premiers seem to be occupying this list)
What's a lights camera action worth?
