On Data East Time Machine there is a common callout "Dominic" who is Dominic?? is he the Saturday night fever dressed dude who is driving the car/time machine on the back glass ?

Just for clarification: it wasn't officially announced. Keith Johnson confirmed on a podcast (I think it was Buffalo Pinball's show) that the community's stupidity (my word) around the spinning disc and treasure chest led to cancellations which directly impacted sales projections, and led to a reduced order on parts, which further impacted the profit margin (fewer parts cost more individually to make), and here we are. I'm sure JJP wishes they hadn't shown the prototypes with that stuff working so early on, but I seriously doubt they expected the backlash that resulted. Which, IMO, in hindsight, was stupid.

Who did the play field art for Night Moves? IPDB doesn’t give an art credit.
It shares similarities with some of Larry Day’s work, but he left Gottlieb the year before.
My theory: it was cobbled together from his leftover sketches from Hollywood Heat and Spring Break.

I love Night Moves but sincerely wish there was information on the original theming because the art is so god damn ugly in the middle.

Yes! It’s so beautifully gaudy and I love the use of metallic paint. My only problem is the pair of badly-drawn dancing couples flanking the bonus ladder.
