Modern Stern game code is so deep and complicated that an overwhelming majority of players will NEVER be able to experience the super wizard mode or even the upper levels of the game.
There are a couple of exceptions like being able to select JP's Escape from Nublar challenge as a separate play mode, but for the most part you are paying for a lot of code you'll never see executed.

Alcohol and weed make playing pinball more fun. But only for a bit when alone, forever with friends, and no better way to stay mediocre at scoring.

Ridiculous pople trying to convince OP that their unpopular opinion is wrong! (ducking behind desk now!...)

Plastic tip darts are for Tupperware parties. Real darts have steel tips.

    I don't think that's an unpopular opinion.

USDA choice graded Steak cooked rare is unpalatable. hard to chew, bloody taste, disgusting to look at. give me a medium steak anyday, or USDA prime prepared correctly.

Playing pinball with the sound off helps make you a better player.

    #757 2 years ago
    Quoted from BMore-Pinball:

    Pinball sucks without the sound,
I don't enjoy it as much on location when I can't hear the music and call outs

hey that looks like my dog!

Modern games generally use way too many toys and clutter the playfield so it's impossible to see.

JJP games maybe. no quarrel with stern on the 'too many toys' front.

I consider the movie Pixels to be one of the Top Ten best comedies ever made.

According to Rotten Tomatoes, that IS an unpopular opinion.

Most reliable fruit = banana. with a glance you can tell exactly what you're going to get.
    Most unreliable fruit = avocado.

There are great games not ranked in the top 10 on Pinside.

MM and AFM do not deserve to be in the top 10 anymore.

    Quoted from SantaEatsCheese:

Unpopular opinion: Modern manufacturers need to pop out a "short player" ultra fast and brutal game every once in a While. Godzilla, Avengers, and Jurassic Park a great, long playing, story based games, but we need something new where the focus is on score and hard to make short and quick objectives.
Every new machine needs to have an option for a "noob mode" that can be started by default for putting pins out on location to get new folks interested. Goals like, "Make a ramp", "hit the pop bumpers", "knock down the drops to start multiball" with time based play. No this doens't appeal to homebuyers, but we need something simple to get new people into the hobby that would do well for noobs on location. Explaining pinball to my visitors is/was much easier on Black Knight and Attack From Mars than on Godzilla and Jurassic Park.

    The Beatles is exactly that.

Sunsets suck, they portend an end. Sunrises are where it's at, they promise a future.
