Peppi Marchello of the Good Rats, is the best rock vocalist you've never heard of.

The Autotune has ruined modern music.

    Quoted from TheGiggler:

Everything Clapton touches turns into a beer commercial. Drains the life out of the blues.

Thank you! Somebody had to say it.

I've always felt that Clapton was one of the most boring guitarists I've ever heard.

    Unpopular music opinion?
Most music from prior to the 90s (70s and 80s mostly) is now outdated and should be put in a time capsule and buried for future generations to dig up. Or not.

And I thought you were an old punker. (well, maybe the seventies stuff should be put away).

    Quoted from 27dnast:

Nirvana and Pearl Jam are the elementary school version of cutting edge music from the late 80s/early 90s. Sorry...#truth

…..while important bands like Husker Du and the Replacements were largely overlooked.

Actually, I thought that whole "Grunge" thing was bullshit.

And how was Neil Young lucky enough to be dubbed, "the godfather of grunge"?

    "Speaking of Canadian rock..."

I was into these guys for a while...….many years ago.

    Quoted from Methos:

What a fucking waste. That was on the tour of their Sonic Temple CD too, their best album. This is one of the reasons why I don't go to concerts anymore due to the bigotry and close minded shits in the audience.

A couple of my friends went to a Tom Petty concert where the Replacements opened. A similar event happened where they were booed, and left the stage early. What a bunch of assholes (the audience, not the band).

I saw the Hooters open for the Dixie Dregs at the Philadelphia zoo. What a strange mix of people in that crowd. No problems, though.

We saw Bob Mould a few years ago.
Nobody seemed to have a problem with the gay thing.
