Anyone from the Twin Cities metro area headed towards Sioux Falls any time soon? I have something I need picked up there.

Quoted from EJS:

Is it a machine? My coworker lives in SF and makes trips to the cities often including next week. Downside is our vehicles are usually packed up wouldn’t be able to fit a game.

I'll shoot you a PM

Quoted from bobwiley:

So is there a thing where I could temporarily trade with someone? All my machines are keepers, but I don't have room for anymore. So I thought maybe like do a one month or two month swap with someone. Or is that a dumb idea? Just don't really want to part with any machines long term. And it's not like the average pinball collector could/would do much damage, right?

I'd trade. Where are you? I only have Wonka and STTNG at the moment however.

Quoted from Minnpin65:

Looking for Monopoly if anyone has one they want to part with. Thanks!

I have a buddy nearby me that has one, just serviced by John Ross. I'll see if he's interested in letting it go yet.

Quoted from Parzival:

Thinking about mixing things up a bit. Anyone have a buck hunter or golden tee at home? Pros/cons? I'm a little strapped for space, but think I could fit one or both of them without losing any pins. Also considering an Ice Cold Beer remake.

If you go the Golden Tee route, I can assist in getting your game modded out with extra games (Silver Strike, Power Putt, and Target Toss)

John Ross from Pinball Plus should know where the best prices on widebody glass are.

I'll have a few pins and vids out for play in a little pop-up arcade at The Osceola Community Fair this weekend.

* Wonka
* Pinbot (for sale, just refurbished by John Ross)
* Orange County Choppers video pinball (prototype game, 1 of only 6 in the world)
* Pac-Man
* Defender
* Centipede
* Mario Bros
* Donkey Kong
* Super Pac (bitkit game)
* Ice Cold Beer

Osceola Community Fair goes Friday 5pm-10pm, Saturday 12:30pm-10pm, and Sunday from 2-6pm. Osceola, WI. There's a huge car show and air show on Saturday at the airport too. Good weekend to stop over.

Quoted from Dan_Halen:

I had the great pleasure of finally meeting John Ross from pinballplusMN this weekend at District 82. I've been looking forward to meeting him for quite some time now as he's clearly the authority on repairs in this city, so I was a bit excited to say the least. He quickly informed me that he was none too happy with my website having images from his site and I was very confused. I'd hired Wix Media Group to make my website, and other than modifying rates, I don't really interact with it much. I took a look and sure as shit there were images directly from his site right on mine and I can't say how embarrassed I was (and still am). I flashed back to the only design meeting I'd had with them and they pushed me to name a website for a similar business and Pinball Plus just came to mind. It had never occurred to me that they would simply steal from him, and it never occurred to me to go back to his site to check anything.
John was incredibly cordial about all of this, even though he had every right to just berate me or take to the internet. I removed all of the images in question as soon as I got home from Green Bay and am even looking into a whole new website overall, this was just what I could do to immediately rectify the most damage.
I take full responsibility for this situation. I should've been more aware of what was going on, I just couldn't have been less interested in the whole process at that time that I simply just said "looks great, thanks" when I was having the site built and this approach bit me in the ass. I will also be in contact with Wix Media Group, though I truly don't expect much, and I'll be working directly with John to make sure there are no more issues going forward.
I felt the need to make this post simply due to the immense respect that I have for those that have come before me in this little hobby we all enjoy, and I'll probably never truly feel that I've made up for this situation.

Good on you for correcting the issue when you learned about it. I'd say you owe John a few referrals as penance for the error.

My STTNG has a potential buyer coming to see me on Sunday. If he doesn't take it, it might go up to the masses here.

Quoted from WildRover:

Yello. Is anyone doing Millwaukee/Chicago runs anymore? brobra Still doing his thang? Looking to pay someone to grab a game or two possibly brining them back closer to Eau Claire WI.

There's a chance I might be headed to Milwaukee soon, to trailer a car down. I'd pick the game and drop back in Eau Claire if you cover my fuel costs.
