Quoted from Nibbles:On a different note, I'm really on the fence about buying a NIB ACDC Premium, anyone see the need to talk me down? Played the snot out of it at BlaineBrook and i dig it, and the wife likes it more than one of my pins (so that one is likely on the chopping block to help with the purchase). What say you?!?
Depends on what the chopping block pin is.
Quoted from Nibbles:'maybe' TSPP, wife doesn't care for it, I dig it (but could give or take compared to ACDC)
Does your wife like your other pins at least?
Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to play ACDC yet... So I can't really render an opinion on it. TSPP, on the other hand, is a pin that has grown on me over the past year. I went from not caring for it at all to kind of enjoying it.
Quoted from Methos:Go check out their showroom and see what their asking prices are on their routed games. How they sell any of them is beyond me.
I did that once... The funny thing was they didn't even know what games they had on route or where they were. I'd like to think they were joking, but I don't think that was the case.
Quoted from TomGWI:So what location in WI is getting one? Oh? Oh yeah, it's WI!
Your Gameroom?
Quoted from MustangPaul:Anyone in MN or WI do game restorations?
I think that Bryan Kelly guy has done one or two in his time.
Quoted from u2sean:Hey all you in WI and surrounding areas - if you haven't heard, the Godfather of pinball (Steve Tully) was in a pretty bad car accident not too long ago. I just found out a few days ago, and was made aware tonight of a GoFundMe that his neighbor is putting together to help him and his partner. I know that many of you on this thread know Tully well as he's the MAN at MGC coordinating the Arcade Hall, has been involved with Expo, and really got the pinball rolling in Wisconsin with the Wauna-Tourney so many years ago, and that's just the tip of the iceburg!
Anyway, if you feel so inclined please be sure to check out his GoFundMe and consider helping out the most deserving individual I can think of. https://gofund.me/89b78c8e
Thanks for letting us know. I haven’t been in the game for many years, but remember chatting with him on multiple occasions back in the day. Great guy. Wish him and his partner a speedy recovery!
