ChrisNack and I stopped by Blainbridge Entertainment center in the twin cities today. It was an interesting place. Not all the pins worked, and some were rough, but there was a great selection. We had a pretty good time. There were quite a few top 100 machines in one place. Favorite machine was probably Attack From Mars. We were surprised how many people were there on a Thursday afternoon.

For those like me who live in Madison and were like, where the hell is Alt Brew, its on the east side by MATC. 1808 Wright St, Madison, WI 53704. Great to see another location going in.

If it wasnt snowing like crazy I would be in my car driving to MN right now. Someone is going to get a great deal.

Full Throttle is interesting. Need a few more games on it to make a real decision. Only thing I really dislike are the flippers. I thought it was kind of hard to trap with them. I love the dual screens though...never have to look up away from the playfield.

I think Ive paid for a good percentage of that machine for you guys. Such a good game. Understandable why its there though, you can actually hear the awesome sound on it.

Is I/O Gaming actually still coming? I just kind of assumed something happened and it wasn't going to happen its been so long. Still, cool to see another location coming.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! That sucks the bowling alley got flooded (for more than my own personal reasons...haha). I figured they would probably be OK in that area since they weren't built on a swamp unlike most of Middleton.

When I first moved here from Madison right before covid hit, Cory was going to invite ourselves to your house to play some games Didn't realize we were that close, assumed you lived closer to him. I met you once at a party at his house, but its been a few years now.

I gave him Paul's info and told him if he couldn't help him, let me know. I can always poke my head over and see if its something simple.

You should see what Troy Smith Tilt has. I have purchased a few games from him over the years and he is a great guy. He seems to have a deadpool pro in stock pretty regularly.

USED to sell for sub 5k. Its a different world. Prices for used games were also lower in this area because of things like MGC where you got a good discount on a new/used machine. Also, Stern changed their pricing model and made it a level playing field for distros unfortunately. Now the price kind of is the price for NIB.

Looking for a Whitewater in the $5500 +/- range. I have a comet I could add as part of a trade if that interests you.

Here is the thing about TNA. Its a new pin but done in a classic style. This was on purpose. Its a deceptively simple ruleset, but still incredibly difficult. It will punish you for bad shots. Everything about the pin is top notch. When the beat drops and kicks in, its highly immersive. Now, would I want it in a very small collection or as a single pin? Nope. But if you have a few machines, its a great choice. I have spent a LOT of time on the pin, and would totally own it if I had space (not willing to get rid of any of the pins I have). I was super happy when my buddy bought one. Also, playing with other people makes the pin much more fun also. Nothing beats the thrill of ripping off someones multiball! We also enjoyed playing coop with it more than I thought I would.
