I'll be at MGC. I'll be helping move games in and other stuff. Will either bring TFLE or TSPP.

Quoted from Jediturtle:As for MGC, I'll be there as cheap slave labor again...LOL! JP might be making a return appearance...not sure yet. Might end up being that and CV again, but still might give CV a year off. CSI might come again...give more people a chance to play it. Hmm...decisions decisions.
WHoopie PIEs?
Quoted from ralphwiggum:I am always down for bringing 2-4 games...I NEVER make it to the actual show though, but try to make it to the Saturday night Shindig....
I will probably only bring two this year though..... I am probably narrowing down the choices to DE Simpsons, Transformers LE, POTC, Wheel of Fortune and Indiana Jones....
I vote POTC.
Quoted from PDXGeek:I grew up in Wisconsin, why anyone still lives there is beyond me ;p Pacific NW has all the pinballs anyway.
Sellout.
Quoted from RustyLizard:I had a blast and would be thrilled to make the guest list again. Ever since that night I have wanted to do the same here but obviously the collection wouldn't match up with yours. I need to quit buying projects and get a solid dozen machines ready for prime time so I can pull this off.
Don't worry Russ. You will be on the list.
Quoted from Jediturtle:Do I have to do your dirty work again to get an invite?
Damn right you do? lol
Quoted from KingPinGames:maybe madison would be a better meeting spot then.
it's still about an hour for me, but it seems to be more of a middle ground.
Maybe we could rotate locations monthly.
Quoted from Whysnow:Hey guys,
I am taking the lead with helping out at Clock Chaos at MGC this year and need to round up a few helpers to keep things running smoothly and to record scores on individual games. Please send me a PM (with your phone number) if you are interested and I will give you the details.
Time commitment will be from ~6:00pm till completion on the Friday of MGC. You will still be able to compete even if you are a helper.
Thanks in advance for anyone willing to help out. As a little incentive, I will have a nice little gift for anyone that helps out.
I can help out with Clock Choas.
Quoted from Ranhorton:I was in Lake Geneva for the first time last weekend to check out the snow sculpting competition. That town is awesome! Need to head back there in the summer with the boat.
Just don't go during one of the long holiday weekends. Absolute cluster F$&@.
Quoted from ChrisS:Lake Geneva is amazing from the first of Oct.to the first of April.
The rest of the time it's a nightmare and I avoid downtown. That's why I live on the edge.
Chris
I love Popeye's restaurant. Hmmm Yum.
Looks like there is an Avengers to play in Sheboygan.
http://www.allcastlegames.com/Allcastlegames/Pinball_Locations.html
Quoted from Jediturtle:Woah! Going to have to go find out if they will let me in to play without paying for a movie ticket! Nice!
I want to go too.
Quoted from Jediturtle:I will try to find out this week if we can just go play. If so...maybe you need to road trip over here next weekend. Sheboygan is only like 10 minutes from here.
Sounds good to me.
Quoted from Ranhorton:Which one is South Dakota again?
I think it's under North Dakota but I'm not sure.
Quoted from LesManley:My buddy is a huge Gopher's hockey fan and this is his favorite pic. He found it online, but wants to buy the shirt if he ever finds it. To be fair, he hates every college that isn't the UMN equally...not just Wisconsin...and loves to go to North Dakota and St. Cloud on away games to rile people up.
LMAO
Quoted from RustyLizard:Anyone tired of their Tron?
No.
Quoted from DEWSHO:Going to head down to the May tourney at Enchanted Castle in IL. Any WI people want to carpool? Save a few bucks on gas and have someone to chat with on the way there and back?
Centerflank and you can carpool but if he suggests going camping.......RUN!
Quoted from Jediturtle:For those that have seen/played my CV, feel free to talk it up for me in my ad post on the main forum...LOL!
Chris is one of the most honest guys I know. Buy with confidence. The CV is nice!
Quoted from RustyLizard:Just got back from my first night of golf league. 36 degrees and wet as can be. Not much fun but the burgers, beer and whiskey were good. Fingers too numb to play pinball right now.
Maybe you don't need your BSD then Russ.
Quoted from RustyLizard:It's giving me fits. Drop targets only work sometimes. Sometimes rattling the coin door helps.
Your playing BSD too much and need to sell because you are neglecting your other games.
Quoted from RustyLizard:They all need a little help right now but they are in better shape than I am.
Quoted from RustyLizard:Says the guy with 21 pins that I want 10 of.
lol
Quoted from AkumaZeto:You being serious Roger? Some small breakdowns that i can say. Things come out of the oven and go right into the cooler!!!! BAD. why is it bad becasue things have to be cooled rapdily with a freeze stick before being thrown in cooler. Otherwise bacteria breads int eh center at its optimal temp. Raw sausage sits out all day and kitchen temp 90+ Eggs the same. Things are married with older products that are moldy. Chemicals are sprayed all over teh bakery while pie crusts sit in the open. Commercial hood cleaners came in to clean the hoods and nothing was covered toxic chemicals sparyed all over the bakery with pie racks feet from the hoods. I could go on and on and on. I am serve safe certified in the state of WI IL and MN
I may never eat again after this statement. I....I think I'm going to be sick....tacos coming back up.
Quoted from tonymiddendorf:Is your Avatar Mickey Rourke?
LMAO. That's Ben with a MASK on
Quoted from DEWSHO:Posted this in Enchanted Castle thread, but in case some don't read that thread I thought I'd share here too!
5 hour round trip with gas and tolls: $50My son and I playing all the games we've never played: $40
Pizza dinner: FREE courtesy of the manager Ken. THANKS KEN!
My son and I getting destroyed in the tournaments: $20
My son and I meeting Lyman Sheets Jr.: Priceless!!Just kidding, $110 dollars and worth every penny!
Thanks for having us Art, great tournament! Wish I was closer
P.S. My smile is broken
Now you didn't threaten to kick Lyman's ass after he beat you in the tournament.
Quoted from Whysnow:I will drive up! when is the next party Tom? aren't we due or are you still waiting on WOZ?
I still would like WOZ to show up for it but yes we are due. I have my fingers crossed that WOZ will be here by the end of August but I can't guarantee it.
Quoted from DEWSHO:Me too!
You'll be invited. Just make sure you have a designated driver.
Quoted from ChrisS:It has landed.
Thanks GAP for hooking it up on short notice.
chris
Cool. No Dirty Donny though?
Quoted from ralphwiggum:Chris mentioned he liked this one better... he had his pick of either....
Either one works, personal taste. Congrats on the pickup Chris.
Quoted from Deaconblooze:Ralphwiggum broke my wh20, he played one game, and got over 1.2b . I'm still trying to find that 1b shot... He holds the GC score, I haven't even gotten close since then. I believe all of my other scores are safe.
That's nothing. He put 1.6 on my WH2O at MGC 2 years ago and I still need to beat it
Quoted from AkumaZeto:That cleared pf I put in does not likely help lol.
No it doesn't. Maybe I should reset the high scores.
Yes it was. You probably won't recognize it anymore.
Quoted from roger0043:When, where? Sign me up.
http://pinside.com/pinball/forum/topic/pinside-party-august-17th
Quoted from davewtf:so... who's going to Pinburgh?
I would really like to go. Depends on dates.
MGC is April 12, 13.
Quoted from davewtf:It says March 28-30th. MGC is a non factor for me. No offense to you or the event.
They should put that on the MGC site (unless i'm just not finding that info).
Insider info. It was just made official the other day so should be on the website soon.
Quoted from jonogo:And, happy Thursday! Who's going to TomGWI's party this weekend? I am going to be in attendance w/ my son!
I'll be there.
Quoted from centerflank:Yes, ELI's mod will be put on my machine when its available, I hopefully have those cabinet rails from Zdoor coming with TRON laser cut into it with EL paper soon as well....
I thought they weren't doing those anymore?
Quoted from centerflank:He had a thread recently looking to do another run so Im in if he gets the required amount. My Pro is going to be prettier than your LE tom!
Come on!
Quoted from Jediturtle:Very true. Ultimate goal will be to have them side-by-side. Then I can decide if they are too similar and the old one has to go to your house.
I have a feeling the new one will feel much more like spiderman than like ST:TNG. Afterall Spidey has a lot of the same shots as ST:TNG and they feel nothing alike. I see the same happening here, but we'll see.
I'll just live vicariously through Tom until I can get my own. Maybe he'll let me level his for him... He's better than I am at it now, but it will make me feel better.
I would wait on ST and play the pro. If it is awesome you can always sell STTNG.
Never mind it is spoken for.
Never mind it is spoken for.
Quoted from centerflank:I thought you guys would appreciate these, Ive posted these pics before, but Trilogy Beer just did me a solid and created these custom beer holders for a few of my favorite pins...He funds his pin purchases with his creations so if you want anything like these give him a shout, I hear he wants to preorder My Little Ponies which is apparently JJP's next theme after Hobbit.
They look sweet.
Quoted from tullster:Anyone in southern Wisconsin got a spare used Williams lock-down bar they'd want to sell? Condition isn't too important. I'm working on a "players condition" Tri-Zone and it came to me without one, so I'd rather sandblast a rusty used one than buy new. A WPC one will work. Contact me thru Pinside mail, and thanks in advance!
I have a few Steve. You can have one for free.
Quoted from jarjarisgod:Your Gameroom?
Lol. I had a LE on ordered but cancelled. Having second thoughts. Some other things I am looking for as well.
I am back in!
Quoted from pinballnut3:Same stuff tony.
Recently we have discovered on pinside.
Stern sucks no toys. JJP rocks LED, LCD and toys are sweet and also Stern is the best everything they make is awesome and JJP suck everything and the LCD is no good.
We have all picked sides, then changed sides, then changed again.
See all the fun you missed!
That pretty much sums it up.
Quoted from TigerLaw:Moving you guys to a members only club sub forum (yes, most of those in there are for specific machine owners clubs but I believe all of these regional/zone clubs are meant to go in there as well now.
This is a Black Day for Pinball.....A Black Day Indeed!
Quoted from tmac:Heads up to the Madison WI area Pinheads, Lord of the Rings just showed up at the Waun-A-Bowl! We had one a few years ago. Glad to see it back!
Sweet!
Quoted from Whysnow:Russ > It is $25 for a 1day pass. That gets you in to the vendor hall and pinball playing area. Sounds like that also lets you go see seminars.
Hilton is right although seminars maybe an extra, not sure.
Quoted from RustyLizard:That sounds better. Would be nice if they spelled it out.
I am going for the day and it is $20-25 bucks in the past for the day. If you go for the week I know there is a flat fee but you get the tourneys, banquet, etc.
Quoted from PM_Jeremy:I have discovered the secret identity of Pinbot - It's Russ! (Rustylizard)
Yesterday I made 1st place on Russ's freshly rebuilt Pinbot. I guess some people just can't stand having someone else in first place on their home machine (lol)

Better Watch Out or Russ won't invite you over anymore.
Quoted from ChrisS:That will look nice next to BDK. Unless you have already moved it on.
Happy NYE Tom.
Chris
BDK is still happy in the game room.
Quoted from ChrisS:Time to shake off those winter blues.
Feb 8th.
This one will be more low key then last time. Cheap Pizza, Chips and Cookies.
PLEASE BRING A 6 PACK of BEER to share
4:00-Whenever.
7:00PM $5.00 single Elimination Bubble Hockey Tourney.
Did this at my tour party and it was a lot of fun. Here is how it works. Sign up at 6:30PM. Give me your $5.00. Then we will build brackets based on how many people sign up. We will draw numbers out of a hat to fill the slots for each round. If its an odd number of players there will be a "bye" card that can be pulled for that round. After each round we will redraw names and slots for the next round. Rinse and repeat until we have a winner. Winner takes the pot.
Please RSVP through a PM. Please include your email address so I can send you info and updates outside the pinball robot. When you email I will give you the address to the house.

chris
Damn, maybe I can head over after the WI SCS. I love bubble hockey and GnR.
Quoted from jpolfer:Emails for the 2013 WI State Championship have been sent.
If you are in the top 50 for WI and have not received the email, please contact me via Pinsidemail and we can get things straightened out.
Email sent. I will be attending.
Quoted from PinballKen:HA! You just described my entire 2013. Except I loved it! Met epthegeek, whysnow, deaconblooze, ralphwiggum, centerflank, and many others just by accepting invites to hang at strangers' houses. They are strangers no longer but friends who I look forward to seeing on a regular basis.
If your just looking for games in the wild the Pinside Pinmap is GREAT! I've found and played many games in the last year that way. Monthly tourneys in Milwaukee are laid back and fun too. If you haven't already, make sure and visit http://www.wisconsinpinball.com/ Ralphwiggum set it up for us and it is growing all the time. Good luck.
EDIT: Looking at the Pinmap it seems you have a bunch of good games near you including MM, WOF, Transformers and more! Looks like Pepis has 6 machines!
Having "A Good Time" at the Wuan-A-Bowl.
Quoted from PinballKen:Can't believe it's almost been a year!! And the next one is right around the corner! No Josh H this year so you have a great chance of taking NUMBER 1!
Do you mean SCS or WuanaBowl?
Quoted from PinballKen:Speaking of Tully, not sure if I shared this one of THE MAN!!
TomGWI house.jpg 32 KB
That place looks really familiar. Can't quite place it though.
If you haven't seen we are forming a pinball league in fox cities/NE WI and want to sign up, PM me.

Tom.
Quoted from PinballKen:What's the running head count? From the people I've talked to, sounds like you're going to have A LOT of guests.
Your not going to be there until late. You'll be playing in the finals.
Quoted from ChrisS:Ohhhh sorry. No WOZ. WOF. Sorry for all the excitement.
You can all cancel your plans for coming now.
Chris
Lmao! Lot of people got excited there.
I will happily play a game of WOF with you Chris.
Quoted from ralphwiggum:After hearing Ken talk the talk about Tully's SS, and then watching it dish out the pain to him, you should be okay...
Lmao.
Quoted from PinballKen:Yeah, SS cost me a dollar that night but it also got me 7 points.
What are you laughing at? That's it! You and me, SS at Chris's house! It's on!
Sounds good.
Quoted from trilogybeer:That was the "real" party .
Oh I see. As soon as I leave that's when all the dancing girls showed up.
Quoted from tmac:Just posted on CL this morning a World Cup Soccer 94' in Eau Claire, WI. On the Minneapolis CL. $2220 Looks like someone got lucky with the Addams in the picture. Cheeseheads (adopted Cheeseheads also) let's not let this one cross the border!
minneapolis.craigslist.org link
Sure now one comes up for sale locally. $&@$;;&
Quoted from tmac:Ok I forgot to take pics but I know others did. What a fun and competitive day! Bunch of Highlights, will post later but hearing someone would whether come to Waun-A-Pinball then go to the Ohio Show which is probably closer made me smile! Thanks to all the participants and a BIG THANK YOU to Tully!
Ken was the man when it came to taking pictures.
Quoted from ChrisS:Yeah but will we ever see them.?
Isn't he still rocking a 35mm disposable.
CHRIS
Nah, it had an LCD display and everything.
Quoted from PinballKen:You were there?? Are you sure? If this is true I might have to create a thread just for you. I'll look through the pics tonight and see if you're in any.
That's it! Tmac, get your flag!
What is this? First they start a league there and now a tournament: http://wisconsinpinball.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=238
Quoted from Jediturtle:Yup..we'll be there to help. I'd love to see that NF there. Too bad that you decide to go through with the sale after I spend all of my pin money for the year...doh!
I think my back is hurting already. Whoopie Pies cure all ailments.
Quoted from ChrisS:I'm in the same boat. 3 steps down. 90 degree turn and 8 more. Its a nightmare getting things in and out. Anyone who has made it to my house can attest from all the divots in my walls.
chris
I can attest to this.
Quoted from ChrisS:And Tom has officially creeped me out.
At least I know where Tom will be the next 72 hours.
chris
Quoted from NightTrain:Everyone going to MGC have a good time! Hit me up if you spot an Iron Man or Spidey for sale! Bummed I can't go!
Centerflank may have his Spidey for sale there.
I usually agree with Mr. Ritchie, however, Tell Steve the voltage was fine. When the power was out everywhere Saturday morning, the machines were the only thing in the county working.
Quoted from Whysnow:I agree on the entrance/tourney area.
I liked where the pinball tourney was held this year but would like to see the check-in entrance moved to back in the main hotel check in area. This would also allow the long line during initial check in to extend down that far wing of the hotel
Someone had suggested to me about moving the tournament in the freeplay area where Jpop, spooky and SkitB were located. I thought it would be worse than the hallway due to the crowds in the freeplay area.
I liked the only 10 attempts at the tournament. Nice you didn't have guys playing 50 games just to move up a few spots.
I thought the freeplay area was awesome this year. There were a ton of playable games, space to move around, etc.
Thought it was the best show to date.
Cons: I didn't see a list posted for the speaker schedule. I probably missed it.
Quoted from FrankJ:How about close off the NW door in that corner and leave the tourney where it is. Make the entrance to the hall the NE door. That way, only tournament players/spectators would be in the NW corner area (no cross traffic). By using the NE door for entrance, the vendors would still get traffic - and everyone entering the hall would see where the tournament was. Make the East doors exit only. Those doors could be propped open. I saw many people get hit by opening doors there over the weekend.
Move ticket/entrance sales away from that area. It's congested enough.
I think it is a good idea. Dan & Gary & the hotel & the fire dept & anyone else who I am forgetting are the ones that make those decisions. I am just the guy that helps with setup, tapes cardboard boxes to the floor to cover wires, and runs after to people to get other people to get things set up. I am pretty low on the MGC totem pole and like it that way.
Quoted from Whysnow:pretty high on my totem pole tom
You are too.
Paying for the long fun weekend at work right now. Only another hour.
Have one spot open for the NE WI pinball tournament in Appleton WI if anyone is interested.
Quoted from animesuperj:I just did a 46 hour round trip (32 of driving) from Waukesha, WI to Fort Collins, CO and back in a weekend. I don't midn the long trips, but don't think I'm doing THAT long again anytime soon.
Holy **** that is long. My longest is getting a really nice Family Guy in the Indianapolis IN area from Appleton WI. Took about 15 hours round trip. Don't think I would go that far again. 8 hours of driving in a day is my max now.
Quoted from ChrisS:Ha. Well I'm going to have the ping pong table set up by then.
Thinking about setting up WOF for a tourny. I know that should seal the deal for you.
Did someone say tourny?
Quoted from Jediturtle:In case you haven't seen the main thread, I'm toying with the idea of trading my Avengers LE (blue) out. Mainly interested in Metallica premium or Mustang LE/prem, but will consider others. Not sure I'd go through with it, but a good trade might get me off the fence.
Go for a MET.
Quoted from Whysnow:Good luck in your hunt Chris!
side note > what do I need to bribe you with to get you to come down for MRP (Sept 13th) and lend your expert help?
Money, Women and Whoopie Pies.
Quoted from RustyLizard:$1.00 a game is a deal. If pinball people don't get that, the public never will.
Yeah. I find it funny that some video games are $2,3,4 a game yet someone will complain that a pinball machine is 75 cents to $1 a play.
Quoted from Whysnow:We have Sys 11 type stuff at .50 and some have commented that it should be .25 or 5/$1 like back in the day.
Well tell them back in the day I could get gas for 99 cents a gallon too but now your lucky to find it for under $3.50 a gallon.
Quoted from lordloss:I still don't know how one does not bring $150 cash to the fair. Unless you only go there to walk around and look at things and not eat/drink/do stuff.
I don't always carry a lot of cash on me. Usually just plastic. Unless I am going to a fair of course.
Quoted from Methos:Thanks to all who have sent my their concerns and well wishes. We're on a holding pattern until the next MRI in 3 months. Like how us midwesterns rationalize events that happen to us..."It could be worse".
Hope all is well Mark. Hope to see you and Ian at MRP.
Tom.

That and the fact the boards are WPC.

Quoted from davewtf:Thread should be renamed Official Minnesota Thread. Sconnie posts are few/far between. Not complaining but moreso making an observation.
Who's gonna win? GB or Dallas?
Romo will do what he does best....choke in a big game. GB wins. Then the real matchup of GB vs SEA will take place as well as NE vs DEN.
Quoted from Methos:I feel a repeat of Farve's last game coming our way. Dallas seems to have our number too many times, espeically during the 90's.
Mark you do know Farve is no longer on the team?
Quoted from jathomp22:I wish I had a Packers #86 Jersey to wear to work tomorrow....
I just know tomorrow is going to suck as everyone is going to be depressed tomorrow.
Quoted from u2sean:Madison Pinball is excited to announce that the WWE Pro is now available for play out at Schwoegler's! Launch Party will be on Feb 21st starting at 11am. Hope to see some of you out there!

Looking good Sean.
Quoted from LesManley:I thought of you WI guys when I dropped this bomb on the Mustang on route that we play in league here last night. This was a fun game...
Two times through Drift and one Silverball Stampede. Only one gear 6 multiball and the super jackpot was doubled and was 175 million. Played Gears 3-6 Multiballs plus another Gear 3 MB, 4 Burnout Multiballs, 1 Mustang Multiball and 2 Upgrade Multiballs. I was on my last letter for another Mustang Multiball too.IMAG2791.jpg (Click image to enlarge)

Epic one point defeat.
Quoted from Whysnow:http://www.madisonpinball.com
4 great playing games at Pooley's on the Eastside.
9 great playing games at Schwoegler's on the Westside.
Yep, definitely hit up Pooley"s and Schwoegler's if you are in the Madison area.
Quoted from LesManley:Really nice. You can see it in that picture above. It was very glossy and shiny. We noticed it right away.
I thought that's what you were getting at with that pic.
Quoted from RustyLizard:In 20 hours my AMH should be in the car.
Sweet! Congrats!
Quoted from Jediturtle:Is it too late to switch league night to your place?
How about he just brings it to my place? Just keep it in the car until then.
Quoted from goatdan:Just a quick FYI, in another thread Clay announced that Tom would not be hosting his open house at MGC. Just to clear up any confusion, neither I nor Tom Taylor have any idea what he is talking about or how he misheard what is going on. Tom Taylor is fully planning to open his collection, currently 240 machines, to 100 people at the Midwest Gaming Classic on Friday, April 8th, 2016. I apologize for any confusion that Clay may have caused.
Clay seems to have is own agenda these days.
Quoted from policano:Cashbox doesn't lie. It was 3rd in earnings last collection again. at .50 a play thats working overtime!
What's the top earner? Just Curious.
The Fox Cities Pinball League is starting up again for our third season and increased its member numbers. If anyone is in the Northeast side of WI and wants to join, please send me a pm.
Tom.
Quoted from CaptainNeo:Anyone local interested in a space invaders? Cabinet is nice. Backglasses are absolutely perfect. Got it to boot once. Needs a new MPU board or someone that wants to fix the acid along the bottom. Everything was working mechanically the one time I got it to boot. Power switch is flaky too. $800 OBO. If it doesn't sell, I'll buy the alltek and throw it in and shop it out sell it for $1300. If you already have SI. Would be a great game to combine with another to make a really minty one. Open for trades as well.

Quoted from Whysnow:works for me but seems a bit slow
Weird it won't open in my browser.
I tried in two different browsers and says server is down. I'll try it later and if still a problem I'll email Tim.
Quoted from centerflank:Bears will miss the playoffs, Packers won't.
I'm not so optimistic. The Packers have looked pretty awful the last 4 out of 5 games with the exception of beating the Vikings. 2 home losses equals not good.
Quoted from u2sean:For anyone in the Madison area or wanting to travel a bit to play the new Spiderman VE, Madison Pinball will be picking one up to add to the Schwoegler's lineup. Hopefully in time for the WI SCS!
Does this mean no GOT Premium? Following Chris's lead.
Good choice getting a SM.
Quoted from Whysnow:I got this one...
Cool. Make sure you get that right ramp protector from cliffy as well as a shooter lane protector (paint wears off).
Quoted from Whysnow:for spidey?
Yep. The left most part of the right ramp is known to crack.
Quoted from Whysnow:surprised nobody has commented on Gene's huge shadow pecker yet...
I think that is what KingPin was getting ready to measure
Lmao!
Quoted from Whysnow:glad you like the GOTpremium at Schwoeglers. Myself, u2Sean, and bigdaddybanjo are responsible for it (along with the other 12 games there). Also have Ironman as a new addition and SMVE will be there as soon as it arrives.

Ken and I had an epic battle on GOTPrem at Sweg's.
Quoted from CaptainNeo:MET is a great addition. Looking at those pics one would think you are a NIB sterns snob. but looking at your collection, your well diversed and have a little of everything. Kudos to you!
Your kinda become a NIB Stern Snob yourself. How many NIB Stern's have you purchased verse other companies?
Quoted from jpolfer:2016 WI SCS news
============
Just wanted to communicate to everyone that I am stepping down as director of the 2016 IFPA WI SCS tournament to be held February 2017. Paul Okruhlica of the Twisted Flippers league will be taking point on getting it organized for next February.
If you have any questions, feel free to PM me.
Quoted from Whysnow:Please make sure he contacts tom and i as we have other things in the works since we had not heard from anyone.
Quoted from CaptainNeo:Tom contacted me to ask if we were doing it next year. Was working on it.
Quoted from Whysnow:Yes, curent thoughts are that it will be at Neos or someone else that may be interested if Neo can't. The hope is for Neos as he provides a great and diverse collection. Thanks in advance Neo!
We preferred to not announce till things were actually solidified. I am not quite sure of the reasoning for making such a post rather than contacting Tom and I since we are the ones that have been keeping stuff moving forward and growing for the SCS for the past 2 years and are the current WI TDs for SCS.
Tom and I will reach out to Paul after the Holiday week when we get home from vacation to coordinate on MKE region TD.
Hi Guys,
I'll try to keep this short so I can get back to the Fourth.
At the 2016 WI SCS, Hilton made an announcement and asked if one of the Milwaukee guys would take on the director position for 2017's event. He asked someone to contact Himself or me if they were interested.
A few months passed by and we hadn't heard anything.
I contacted Hilton and told him I was going to contact Neo to see if he was interested in being the director this year.
Reasons I asked Neo:
1. He runs the Milwaukee League
2. He ran one of the tournaments at MGC
3. He has been in pinball a longtime and knows what he is doing
4. He knows a lot of the Milwaukee collectors.
When I talked to Neo I asked if he would be director and he said he would take it on.
We also talked about where to host the event. I said I was fine with him hosting if he wanted too. He had also mentioned Chris S in Lake Geneva and Jim R (I think) for possible sites. I left it in the hands of Neo because I figured he would get it done. I just didn't want things to wait until the last minute.
I think Paul would be a great director as well.
I have no issues with anybody running the tournament.
What I wanted to avoid was:
1. No one running the event and being stuck with trying to find a location
2. Picking a location NOT suited for the event (location with only 3 games, non working games, etc
I'm extremely happy that someone is stepping up to the plate to get it done.
If anyone wants to contact me about this please feel free to send me a pm.
Again, I just wanted to get the ball rolling and not necessarily isolate anyone.
Tom.
Quoted from Whysnow:Thanks for posting TOM. i agree with all of the above. i also spoke with Paul already and he is happy to assist with TD for this year. wE will leave it to Neo and Paul to work together to coordinate the location and which of them is the official TD. Tom and I will of course assist and please keep us informed. wE all invest alot of time and energy into building the sport in the state and want to keep it growing and moving forward in a team effort. VERY happy to hear we now have 2 guys on board to make it even better thisnyear!!!
Quoted from CaptainNeo:My plan was Chris or Jim because of their setup. Much better suited for larger groups. As both have similar setups to Toms. Nice open spaces. Nice running dependable games and setup correctly. But I wanted to talk with some of our regions hosts and get a collective thought process before I make any decisions.
Awesome
Quoted from precisionk:So been a year or two since I unloaded my last pinball due to space. Now that I am in my new house, have plenty of space for a new machine. Looking for local opinions on GoT. How deep is the game play? Pro or le? Love the theme and wasn't aware they came out with it(have been out of the scene).
GOT is pretty deep. It's not LOTR deep but it is a fun and challenging.
As far as pro vs prem/LE just depends on your tastes and wallet.
The models IMHO are hugely different. Some people don't like the mini playfield on the LE and some can't live without it.
I have a GOTLE and honestly could live with a pro but I do like the Mini playfield and the multicolored LEDs. The use of the LEDs are very well done (blinding too ). The extra ball effect is one of the best in pinball IMHO. Get an extra ball and it looks like the playfield is on fire.
My recommendation is to try and play each before you decide if you an get to a location that has one.
Quoted from CaptainNeo:that thing actually works? Never seen it on.
Works perfect. I never turn it on for tournaments Neo. Same with my arcades, jukebox, touchscreen, etc.
Quoted from CaptainNeo:good then you can help me put my alien poker back together. It's getting the full treatment.
Just have a Zaccaria Party.
Quoted from SuS:I'm in the process of relocating to the Milwaukee area, and will be moving into my house in a couple weeks. Looking forward to meeting some of the local pinheads.
Lot of great guys & gals in the Milwaukee area. If you ever head north up into the Fox Valley area send me a pm and maybe we can hookup and play some pinball.
Tom.
Quoted from Phat_Jay:New here guys, from oshkosh, wi. If anybody is close or close enough, drop me a line.
Quoted from orangestorm87:Have an oppertunity to switch jobs, that would have me move to the Fond Du Lac Area. As I would not know anyone, are there any private leagues or meet ups? Just seeing if there is a strong community or not. Looking at Pinballmap, route play seems a bit sparse.
If I did move would be hoping to meet some fellow players.
(And don't worry, not deciding to change just because of pinball )
I am the head of the Fox Cities Pinball League.

Selling a Ruby Red WOZ if anyone is interested
Quoted from LesManley:No, that John would be John Galvin. I don't even get out to Tilt much since I live in the east metro. I've only been there 3 times including this morning to try out Star Wars. I just help spread the pinball love in the Twin Cities anyway I can.
How was SW?
Quoted from PM_Jeremy:My friend Ed and I started a new YouTube channel called Pinball Mayhem. It will cover pinball mods plus other pinball related "stuff" and arcade "stuff".
Below is a video I shot (and edited) while attending a league session of the Fox Cities Pinball League. Titled "A glimpse into a home based pinball league"

Nice video Jeremy.
Quoted from Eric_S:I tried to buy my Metallica through the Stern Rewards as well. I got a similar quote, but Stern was out of stock each time I wanted to buy and on my last try, they said there probably wouldn't be another run. Maybe they changed their minds about another run.
Didn't you also ask about the premium and got the same response?
Quoted from CaptainNeo:I got a list of what I could order at that time and prices associated. $4500 for pros' $6000 for premiums.
If you can get one. Good luck.
Quoted from FatPanda:I didn't know you did trades. Is this like an automotive trade-in where I'll get a way undervalued trade-in due to overhead and all that? o.O
No need to respond here Chris! I will definitely keep that in mind in the future!
No, I just traded him a few games for a Dialed In and got fair market value for mine plus some cash on my side. If you want more info fell free to pm me.
Quoted from Pinzap:Of course we all pay it ourselves... which is why it hurts to see our Wisconsin friends getting a better deal than us. Let the border battle begin!!
Moral of the story: no good deed goes unpunished... or Pinsider’s will find anything to complain about (you pick).
Joke?!
Quoted from AudioHaven:One Day Fire Sale 3400 for Centaur II & Paragon
I have an opportunity to buy something else for my game room but only if I can get these 2 sold and out tomorrow
Great deal for someone. Did they sell?
Quoted from Pinzap:Thanks for the heads-up... I can see I won't be getting anything done this afternoon now!! Can we find anywhere who is representing what state? I know Ben Granger is representing MN, but who is representing WI?
David Daluga
Quoted from DanQverymuch:Did you see the one on Madison's CL?
madison.craigslist.org link
Definitely not Neo approved.
Quoted from liftmagnet:Thanks for that, never really used craigslist before so I must have missed that one.
That was the first thing that came to mind when I first saw it. Don't worry though, I already put some incandescent back in until I can get some sensible led's
Did you pickup the RBION?
Quoted from AAAV8R:I see there is a MAIDEN LE on MSP Craigslist, asking $13,500.
Lordloss?
Quoted from LTG:I left Milwaukee this morning about 9am. No way I would have tried it last night.
LTG : )
Ditto. Friends talked me into staying and I am glad I did.

Quoted from KingPinGames:I have a ghostbusters pro. Is that close enough? They both deal with the dead... both have a ramp.... some flippers... you get the point.
Do you have a Kiss Pro?
Quoted from Jason_Jehosaphat:Any Pinsiders make it to the Back to the Fifties car show at the Fair Grounds?
Got a pic or two to share?
My hunch is there's a fair bit of crossover between cars and pinball. As in, pinheads love cars the way hot rodders love pinball. That sort of thing. And cars are - incredibly! - even *more* expensive than pinballs, so looking at restored cars makes me feel like a frugal hobbyist!
I drove up to get a pin on Friday and saw a bunch of classic cars heading there. Now I know why.
Quoted from Whysnow:What pin?
This is a pinball forum afterall
That's Classified!
Quoted from LesManley:First Deadpool has landed in the Twin Cities. Should be up and ready at Tilt by lunch time tomorrow. Caffetto's and Gameworks at the Mall of America have them coming for sure as well, so with any luck we should have 3 in MN on route already this week so get your quarters ready.
[quoted image]
Might have to make a road trip to MN.
Quoted from Whysnow:You can come to Madison later this week also. Sounds like there will be at least 2 (likely 3) of them to play.
Nice. I assumed you weren’t putting yours out till the launch party.
Quoted from Whysnow:We usually put them out as soon as we get em
(Well maybe a day or 2 of "testing" at home)
Which location is it going in?
Quoted from Whysnow:Schwoeglers where it will be through the launch. Planning to put it to the side so people can here it better
We also have the new location opening soon which will have atleast 10 other new games
On top of all that... other new things are coming soon
Wow. Awesome.
Quoted from Whysnow:could not do it without the support of the community.
pretty cool that a little over 5 years ago there was basically no pinball in Madison on route.
We will soon have 50 games on route, Geeks has another 35+, Jim has probably 15 now. Madison went form 5 to 100+ in no time
Now you guys just need to move closer to me. Than I can stop buying games.
Quoted from FatPanda:I'm in town and I STILL buy games! Just not the brand spanking new ones
I probably still would too.
Quoted from Schamattack:Anyone got any project pins in the milwaukee area they are willing to get rid of? Finally sold my Seven up looking for a new project. Prefer something non EM but would consider.
Although no in Milwaukee, RustyLizards had some project games on Wisconsinpinball.com he was selling.
Congrats to Jediturtle Chris Matte from WI and Luke Nahorniak from MN on their State Pinball Championship wins!
Quoted from KingPinGames:Coach McCarthy and his new games! Stern Star trek pro (coming this week). Monster Bash remake special edition and jjp potc le. Special thanks to eric over at Titletown Pinball for the introduction.
[quoted image]
He is hooked!
Quoted from Yokimato:Looking for a nice TSPP within 3ish hours drive if anyone is looking to part with theirs.
Another pinhead from Appleton?
Quoted from SuS:I have an Iron Man VE and TSPP that I'll be moving out in the next month. I'm downsizing my collection in preparation for a move to Florida later in the year.
Jediturtle is looking for an Ironman. I’ll let him know.
Quoted from Goalie:Looking for a quick sale of my TWD Pro with color dmd. $4200[quoted image][quoted image]
Great price. This should be gone in about 5 minutes
Quoted from Derrik:Absolutely. Hopefully going back to Schwoegler's today for round 2.
When I played over last weekend the only thing I didn't understand about the pin was why I couldn't always "collect the kid" by hitting the captive ball. Is there a certain number of times you have to hit the captive ball to light the orbit for the multiball? I felt like I was hitting it many times and it seemed random to me when I was actually awarded the shot. I'm probably misunderstanding the rules or something though
You have to collect the kids with various shots. Augustus is the spinner 30x. Then hit captive ball and then hit the shot (target) behind the upper left flipper to start.
Quoted from Derrik:No, I get that. I probably didn’t explain myself very well. When the collect the kid is lit at the captive ball I rarely get it the first time I hit the captive ball. You have to hit it really hard dead center to reward it and then ball’s momentum seems to just die and drain straight down the middle, lol, at least when I play. I even tried strategizing to hit the captive ball from the upper right flipper several times and never got it to light that way.
Gotcha
Quoted from Eric_S:I bought the Deadpool and the original play field is fine, Jedi was being cautious and got a play field in case some past issues re-emerged.
Your username seems pretty accurate. Eat a bag of dicks.
Quoted from Jediturtle:Geez...no idea what I did to piss this guy off, but he definitely has the wrong idea here. Just trying to sell a pf...didn't realize that was a sin or would offend anyone. My reputation means a lot to me, and having a guy come in here making assumptions and accusations is the last thing I want or expected to happen.
Just the usual Pinside riffraff. Like I said....you can’t take someone serious that calls himself SadSack.
Quoted from Jediturtle:I can understand someone not liking me. Or even not liking Jedi. But what kind of sad sack doesn't like turtles?
I can’t understand someone not liking you. You are probably the nicest guy in pinball.
Quoted from DanQverymuch:My pinball need has been fulfilled, Chris (Jediturtle) has sold me his sweet ST Pro, thanks Chris! Loving it!
Looks really great with a sheet of Invisiglass in it!
One of the best games. Welcome to the ST club.
Quoted from CaptainNeo:anyone need to make space for JP and wants to move out a mexico 86, let me know ASAP!
Quoted from Whysnow:Anyone interested in a nice ICE Ice Cold Beer.
Preference is to trade for/towards a similarly rare/odd pin.
Open to reasonable cash offers.
Has a full spare set of the hole light/switches (critical part that I have never seen a spare set for)
I would be interested in a Frontier.
Quoted from Jediturtle:Quick glance at the market archive shows HUO go for $4.5-$5k recently. Even if it were still NIB, I'm not sure he could get what he's looking for.
Sounds a lot closer to reality.
Going to be listing my Avengers LE soon if anyone is interested send me a pm.
Also have my Black Knight SoR Premium still for sale.
Quoted from Jediturtle:That's exactly what happens, especially around here. Pinside has turned into a swamp of negativity, and certain games become a target.
Not quite WWE level.
Quoted from Scrimmbo:Saw this posted north of milwaukee
milwaukee.craigslist.org link
Spanish eyes for $275? seems like a steal.
It’s not working it sounds like but still might be a good deal for someone
Quoted from Silvercoin:Hey all!
Just wanted to give a shout out to rustylizard for selling me a very nice Jokerz!
Perfect transaction, and all around nice guy!
Thank you very much!
Russ is an awesome guy.
Quoted from CaptainNeo:does a premium have baked potatoes as well, or is that only the LE?
Premiums got those sides!
Quoted from Whysnow:Which version comes with bacon and cream?
LE has ALL the toppings.
Quoted from Fortytwo:Is there a rick and morty on route to play in Milwaukee?
There are 3 in Madison though.
Seems like PBL is only doing UPS shipping at this time. There is no longer an option for USPS when I have tried the last few days.
Quoted from Fezmid:My order on 3/20 was shipped via USPS, so this must be a new thing.
Yeah I placed an order last week and got usps shipping and went back to order a few more things. UPS was the only option. I dumped my cart and I tried just putting 5 fuses in the cart and it was $13 UPS to ship them. I would think possibly it has something to do with the Coronavirus.
Quoted from DanQverymuch:Yeah, I live just north of Oshburg and this was the first I'm hearing of it!
Local jurisdictions still have say, and many are continuing lockdowns in varying degrees, despite the wrangling at the top valuing money over life...
Yep Phat Jay is right. There was Pixels Arcade & Sports Bar but they are closed indefinitely it sounds like.
Edited to give credit to Phat Jay.
Quoted from Methos:I honestly would not go to an arcade and play pinball on route at this time.
I wasn’t suggesting anyone should. I was just answer the discussion that there was an arcade in Oshkosh.
When I said closed indefinitely I meant they will not be returning.
Quoted from epthegeek:That sounds more like permanently than indefinitely.
You are correct.
Quoted from Methos:I didn't mean to infer that was what you were saying.
I feel for those that have games on route, especially when it's their only livelihood. I'm ready to start taking chances with vacations and travel again, but I will really be thinking twice on what I come into physical contact with.
I might start wearing gloves for route games. Not sure yet.
Quoted from northvibe:Really? As of Today everything in WI should be allowed to open per the WI judicial system. from my understanding.
Not necessarily true.

Winnebago County Extends Safer at Home Order
OSHKOSH, WI (May 14, 2020) – Yesterday, the Wisconsin Supreme Court voted to invalidate the statewide Safer at Home order issued by the Wisconsin Department of Health Services. While the decision immediately ended the emergency order, the underlying threat of COVID-19 remains present in our community.
After careful review of the Supreme Court decision and our own local progress using the Badger Bounce Back scorecard, the Winnebago County Health Department has decided to issue a countywide Safer at Home order, effective immediately. The county order incorporates all elements of the statewide Safer at Home order and provides guidelines to reopen the county in a phased approach as soon as it is deemed safest to do so.
“This is a challenging time, but we all have an important role in minimizing the spread of COVID-19, especially among the most vulnerable populations,” said Doug Gieryn, Winnebago County Public Health Department Director and Health Officer. “By extending the Safer at Home order, we are joining a regional initiative with our neighboring counties to put strategies in place that will protect the safety and well-being of our residents and businesses.”
The Winnebago County Safer at Home goes into effect immediately today, May 14, 2020, and will expire at 8 a.m. on May 20, 2020, or until a superseding issue is ordered. The order is issued under the authority of Wisconsin Statute 252.
For questions or concerns, contact the Winnebago County Health Department’s COVID-19 hotline at 920-232-3026. For up-to-date information, please frequently monitor the Winnebago County Health Department website and situation updates, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services website, and the CDC website.

Quoted from LesManley:Get the Stern one. I love it. Quality is extremely good, solid white light behind it so no hot spots. Plus, they have free shipping on orders over $50 now so it won't cost anymore than listed price. I am honestly shocked they don't charge more for it, considering they want $80 for a shooter rod.

They are sold out once you try to check out.
Quoted from MikeS:It sounds like most of the damage caused is by outside provocateur's. Nearly everyone arrested is from out of State.
This guy doesn't appear to be a protestor and is stirring up trouble.
This is completely fucked up.
Quoted from RustyLizard:I don't want to sound like a jerk but there are better ways to get what you want.
Nobody wants to do sexual favors for Neo. That is just asking too much.
Quoted from CaptainNeo:you are just trying to corner the market, and shoo away the competition.
Definitely!
Quoted from ChrisS:I couldn't agree more. .
In the end since I live on the road its best for my wife to have her family around as a support network with 2 kids under the age of 2 1/2.
I never thought I would leave the state i love but this is all about family.
Take care of yourself Chris. You will be missed. Hopefully we will see at a show in the future.

The Blue Moon is and has been open the whole time. Just carryouts in that phase, and for indoor food and drink now.
Hell, the arcades are open in Madison right now. . .

Quoted from BadgeringBadger:Anyone around Madison know if Maria's bar is still open? Found it when I drove through in 2019, but I thought it was closed permanently. They had a nice collection of older pinball machines and I'd love to stop in again when I'm around this week.
I don’t think Maria’s exists anymore but I could be wrong.
