Thanks Doug! I'm open to whatever fits in my budget, lol. A CE would be super cool to own! Vitty dropped me a message on it, and I had one or two other leads on an LE. Hopefully can move the Star Trek and a few other things to make something happen.
Anyone in the Minneapolis area looking to be rid of a Target alpha? That would be my first choice for an em, may consider others with sci-fi or space theme also.

I'm here anyway. I only do tech support for CGC now, which will likely be slow. I make my Thanksgiving dinner here every year. And watching movies gets real old real quick.
So if some people wander through will give me something to do.
I used to open at 4pm on Thanksgiving until 1986. It was a really good business day and a lot of fun. People bringing in food to share and partake in the fun.
Then in 1986 it changed. No regular customers. No one brought in food. And after the video fad died and all the other places closed. Just about everyone I ever threw out showed up. And it was a lousy business day. So in 1987 I changed the holiday hours.
I don't expect a great business day. More just looking for me for something to do. So I'm not bored.

Actually in the 1972 to 1985 years it was fun. So many young couples had to go to multiple family dinners. And each dinner they were given food to take home. After your third or fourth meal you were sick of Thanksgiving and what to do with all the food ?
People started dropping it off here. People traveling, or those not having family would stop in. People would drop off food, or trade some of what they had for stuff that was here.
It was a blast. And in 1986 came to a screeching halt.
A shame. It was a lot of fun.
