Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:

$17. How's that.

a pair of choppers...

#1602 10 years ago
Quoted from Bryan_Kelly:

I'll do $40, some deli meats and a case of Shasta. I'd throw in some pepsi but that's for me and my sister.

What the hell, you said it was mine Kelly..

#1603 10 years ago

I'll go $50 and a big ass salami.

#1604 10 years ago

I was wondering who'd catch that first, Matt. LOL

Quoted from Matt_Rasmussen:

You're out, Josh. Tony keeps telling me about the big ass salami he already has.

It's a classic I haven't listened to for a while...

#1608 10 years ago

I'll go $60, and a bad Monkey. He doesn't bite, but he needs to be spanked

#1609 10 years ago

OK, OK OK...

This is all I can offer...

Do we have a deal Tony?

Well played. I can not match that offer.

How do you suppose you are going to get it by under-bidding BFK's Shasta?

Looking for a Dr Who in the wild in Minneapolis area. Anybody know of one. Call me stupid but I cannot figure out how to find a game on the Pinmap.

#1613 10 years ago

Steve, nothing is listed in MN at this point. Go up to "Archive" and search for the game. On the game's page is a link to the map with all the owners/wishlists/places to play on it

#1614 10 years ago

Thanks Charm! If anyone local has a Dr Who, would love to get some game time. Interested in one out of state but have never seen or played this one.

I had one for awhile. I don't think you would like it Steve, unless you are a big Dr. Who fan. I didn't mind it, but I sold it for a great price at the time, so off it went. It's mainly all about maxing out the multiplier on the upper right ramp and hitting jackpots for insane point values.

#1616 10 years ago

I think the rules are deep for casual play, but yes, if you are looking to just get the highest score possible in a tourney, it's 'easy' to do.

#1617 10 years ago

I'm baaaaack!

Buy MORE lotion, I think you meant...

#1622 10 years ago

So where has the vibe been?

#1623 10 years ago
Quoted from tonymiddendorf:

Only thing preventing me from getting it at this point is a vehicle to pick it up ...

Going in deep huh. So much for school.

Man being in Euroland really makes it hard to keep up with all that is happening in WI/MN

Yep, lots of board work, but I'm ready for it. I have the tools and I'm determined to get this thing in working condition.

I got it to start up once, but turned off right after.

Reminder about the party at Kevins place in one week, on July 20th. If interested, shoot me a message for more details and/or address.

The harbody was up on ebay and sold for $361, then a couple weeks later it pops up for $700 on craigslist, now $600.

Was it cleaned up ? New rubbers , etc ? Or just selling now as it was ?

Guys, there are so many threads on prices and not many end well. Because it's such a touchy subject and we will never all agree on it let's keep the WI-MN thread free of all that. I think it's good information that it was pointed out here but beyond that give it it's own thread if it's a big deal.

On a lighter note, in recent days I have beat the 4th high score on my HS2 a bunch of times and can't get any higher and I like turtles.

#1639 10 years ago

On that note, I have been playing my FT more than any other game ever since MGC and still can not get on the board. I put one score up (3rd) when at MGC and Brad (drstark...) put up #2, but everything else is still factory. Arrgghhh... I will often put up 150mil on ball 1 and then just fall to pieces on balls 2 and 3>> the pressure always gets to me and I implode.

Gotcha.

On a new topic, I saw a Black Knight that needs board work for sale on lloyds site. Is that anyone's here?

If you have that baby set up as tough as you did in Clock Chaos I can see why it's hard to beat.

#1642 10 years ago

Just finished 'There's No Place Like Home' mode on WoZ, that's a lot of work for a ball, but has a pretty cool effect when you finish it.

#1643 10 years ago

I've recently put up hi scores on both my new games, t2 and Earthshaker.

My son is REALLY digging both games! Which a change from him completely ignoring pinball previously.. Things are looking up!

Yup, set up mean as nails, just how I like em

I actually changed the ball saver to add 2 more seconds over factory which helped slightly to keep the heart rate down on bad beats/house balls. I also changed replay to an extra ball to have a better shot of getting further.

Earthshaker you say? I might have to give that a whirl. Never played a real one.

Scored 142 million on ball 1 on Addams Family today. Then 6 mil(heh) on my extra ball after that. When you can do a chain of bear kicks(like 8 or 9 in a row), you're going to have a good time.

#1646 10 years ago

ES is fun, its a sys11. First to have a shaker. Also first to have a "family" setting because it uses the word "Bitchin'". Fun theme and great play.

#1647 10 years ago

So any P2k owners here? Have always wanted to own a machine, played it a few times on location and definitely a good time. Curious as to how repetitive it can get. Any opinions?

#1648 10 years ago

i have both.

i think they are both fun, SWE1 can get a little repetitive though. when people come over to play games (non pinball people) they seem to head right for SWE1... we will see how that stands once WOZLE shows up

#1649 10 years ago

So how many people have other pinsiders (WI/MN of course) initials on their game. Step up tell the truth! Story behind it? Have you come close to knocking them "off the board." Maybe even post their score, initials and game. Ok Begin.....

I had several on my HS2 that I had at SS Billiards for a while, I say had because there was a battery malfunction...no really...

I know I've put my initials on a few others machines though. MNHotrod's The Shadow and Rommy's Monster Bash and XMen. If they're still there I don't know, but I thank them both for letting me play on their fine machines!
