Had a good time at NE Arcade, then spent a couple hours at SS Billiards. Thanks for hosting us Lloyd! Now taking a little break back at the hotel before dinner.

Selling a beautiful Theatre of Magic. Prior Lake MN.
Sold!
Quoted from HHaase:With luck I may actually finally get out to SS Billiards this week. All the times I've been to Minneapolis and never had the time to get there. This week I'm going to be struggling to find stuff to do, so sounds like this will be my chance.

SS is a great stop! There’s a handful of others worth checking out as well - Tilt, Mortimer’s, Cafetto and Blainbrook.

And NE Arcade. We are putting in some work, keep us in mind -- we are lucky to have so many great spots to play these days!
Selling my gorgeous Flipper Football.

New location in downtown St. Paul! The Pillbox will be opening "soon" -- I walked by on my way to lunch, and saw there's a Monster Bash right inside the doors. There's also three claw machines, that could easily be replaced with more pins, please.... There were a couple of credits on the MB, so I played a couple of balls, even though they aren't open yet -- construction people didn't seem to care.
Anyone know who owns the route? Wondering if the machine will be kept up long term and maybe change - I work right around the corner, so will be frequenting the location a lot.
I'm also a fan of NE Arcade, went there the opening day where it was good enough, but went back last week and it's greatly improved with a few extra machines (more pinball makes anything better). They run a one night tournament on Tuesday nights at 7 now.
I heard about the Midwest Gaming Classic in Milwaukee, and plan to go this year for the first time to play a ton of pinball. Can anyone who went last year tell me if the Friday preview is worth going to, and tell me more about the after party? Not sure if I want to drop $75 on a few hour party with how little info there is about it.

The Friday preview is well worth it IMHO. Fewer people and lots of chance to play games with short/no lines in many cases.
I would hit all the things you really want to session on Friday.
Then saturday morning, hit them again. Once it gets busy check out the other aspects of the show.
There are mutiple after partys. Many here will be game bringers and get to do the game hall one (only for those that bring a game) which is the best afterparty in all of pinball.
They offer other paid after parties. I have not gone to them (because I am at the game bringer official one) but heard good things last year from those that did.

Quoted from beergut666:Up Down on a Friday is an absolute shit show, honestly anywhere over there would be.
It is better than businesses trying to make a go at an old school arcade and sitting empty (and there are plenty of those). I've always enjoyed bumping elbows at UpDown when I make it up there. TMNT (arcade) is way more fun to play when you join others than playing it by yourself in an empty bar. But I can see how it's not for everyone.
Anybody making a trip from WI to Minneapolis/MN in the next month with the ability to deliver a game? I am short on time and have a few things lining up. If you have time, space, and room for money in your wallet, PM me.
I'll be coming up from Chicago to the Green Bay area next two weeks for work. Anybody have any projects they'd like to dump?

Hey Hilton! New home, but no pins.. YET. And I haven't seen many people with the exception of those I saw at the JP release. However, I haven't heard from Tony lately.

Your love of Gottlieb's endures. I'd rather avoid the hernia from lifting those beasts.
Either Tony, although I've talked to Tony P w/i the past year, Tony M was... 5 years ago possibly?
I had mentioned it in a MGC thread but posting here.
I am trying to decide what will be my second game to bring to MGC.
I have a Mr.&Mrs. Pacman that is condition-wise really nice playfield (like the nicest/ early mylar done well I have ever seen; as most are junk) and nice backglass.
It is currently legs off and has a reset issue that should be a relatively easy fix for me (rebuild voltage and connectors?)
Given my limited time before MGC, I could bring this game if there is any interest in purchase/setting up a deal in advance (game would need to stay at show for duration)
LMK if interested.
Just a heads-up for anyone looking for last minute plans for the end of March. We have the global pandemic scare to thank for extremely low airfares between MSP and DFW. I saw as low as $133 roundtrip today ($97 between CHI and DFW), but not sure how long it will last. At this cost, the admission to TPF will almost cost you more than getting there.
Good morning everyone. I want to share that I'm selling my PoTC LE. See thread below for details. Don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions.
Who else is excited for the fantastic weather this weekend? Great for picking up a new pin.
Speaking of games for sale....I'm selling my Monster Bash LE. Looks and plays brand new. Not a flaw. Hit me up if you want to come check it out. $7500 OBO.
In case anyone looking to make a drive
Anyone know who operates the Munsters Pro at the Xcel center? The machine desperately needs a bill acceptor or a change machine near by. I scrounged up a new quarters to play a few games, but there isn't anywhere to get change.
It was a nice break in between games this weekend for the Hockey Tournament.
I’ve listed some spare parts I have for sale. Prefer local pick up but will ship.
Stern DMDs 128x32 Red Led -2
Vishal dmd plasma 128x32 - 2
25” Lockdown bars - 2
STTNG plastic protectors.
if anyone is looking for a cheaper pinball hauler. I'm selling my 03 Grand caravan. Can fit 4 pins at once. Has 230k miles, but everything runs, starts and works 100%. A/C works great. heater works great. has electric windows. Outside temp and compass. 2 middle captains chairs and bench seat for the back/middle. easily come out for pin pickups. newer radiator and A/C condenser. Always starts good and runs great. Only issue is that sometimes you have to tap the key when putting the key in the ignition. Had the same issue on the last 4 Grand Caravans i've had. 21-23 MPG. Pinside price $1300.
I realize these are only for pickup in MN but if someone happens to be coming to MGC (or thru Madison) that would be willing to bring the King of Diamonds playfield along please PM me! I'll pay for transport.

My Vegas conference got cancelled because of the Corona Virus. Now that i'll be in town during MGC I was thinking of coming.

Just bring quarters! None of the vendors at the Xcel can make change, as in there are no quarters! All prices are in round dollars.

If they'll fit in the back of a Mazda 3 hatchback I've got plans to stop by I/O in Madison on my way to MGC on that Thursday night. Not sure what that guy's pickup schedule would be, but I wouldn't be available to pick anything up until March 27th at the earliest
