Do pinball prices spike this time of year? I'm not talking about the astute collectors here on Pinside, but am more wondering about the average first-time buyer, getting one for a family X-Mas gift.
I've been thinking about unloading my collection and getting out of the hobby and am trying to determine the best time of year to sell. I'd prefer not to deal with it during these colder months, but was thinking maybe games could fetch a premium this time of year. Any past experience and insight is appreciated.

From Halloween to Christmas I get more people in my business looking to buy pins than any other time of the year. For a present for family member or for the family/visitors over the holidays.

This is the best time to sell. Shortage of pins and ive had alot of people asking for games these past weeks.

Have a client with a huo Sopranos, documented and 330 plays. Hes looking for 6500. Not sure if too high or not. I saw the game looks new veey clean.

He's definitely high on something.... LOL..... I would think he will need to knock a couple of grand off to move it. Who knows, the market isn't what it used to be.

Quick glance at the market archive shows HUO go for $4.5-$5k recently. Even if it were still NIB, I'm not sure he could get what he's looking for.

I have one. I replaced with a colorDMD xl (in case you did not know that was and option). Lmk if interested and what a fair price is on these currently.
