I went! Show was great, first time I've seen them live. Very entertaining!

Looks like I missed a heluva show. Haven't seen them live since the early 80s. Keep hearing they can still bring it

By the way, I have some 1/2" chrome T molding if anyone's interested. It's perfect for Bally system 11 games like EATPM, Game Show, Bugs Bunny etc. Have about 12 feet left. Should be enough for 2 pins. Free to whoever would like it. Just have to pick it up in Burnsville. Or if your near Danbury, WI. I'll be up there all next week...

Anyone have a Gulmite #10 driver I could borrow to remove some screws. I'd rather not wreck the heads of the screws to take them out...

#13009 4 years ago
Quoted from LTG:

ebay.com link » Gulmite Crown Head Security Screw 10 Nut Driver Speaker Bus Bally Skill Roll
Ouch.
LTG : )

Ya, exactly. I wouldn't mind buying that, but buying new gulmite screws to go into the skill roll, not even sure you can buy them. So I'll use a new screw, security or philips to put the handles on.

Saw a Star Trek by itself in the other arcade at the MN State Fair. Heads up if the op is here: the bill acceptor isn't working, it doesn't even pull the dollar bill in. .

I remember going in the arcade at the fair as a kid when I was on break (I worked at the fair) and it seemed like row after row of pins. It would be so much fun if they had a retro arcade there. Is it mostly redemption games these days?

#13012 4 years ago

sure but hey, my kids got like 6 tootsie rolls between them for the low low price of $3 while daddy was playing JP.

#13013 4 years ago

I took these two pics last night at the fair. All the pinball I found.

My dad and I are going through his garage and getting rid of things. He has this atv? Lift/jack. Is this the style you can turn into a pinball lift?

Played the JP flipper power was weak, could be coil stops or maybe the power? It was hard to make ramps.

I played JP at St Paul Taps. That one had plenty of power to make shots cleanly. I would guess because the game is new and getting a lot of plays at the fair, possible flippers too tight? You know how a game can play great off a rebuild and need little tweaking. Just my best guess. IT really would be interesting to see plays per day at the fair on some of those games. see how popular they really are.

Flippers were fine on August 24th but plunger/auto plunger were a failure. (Also wasn’t accepting bills).

Anyone looking for a Flintstones pin? Looking for $3200 OBO. I can grab pics upon request. Its at a friends house currently.

Make sure to stop at the Burnett Dairy Coop for some ice cream and fried cheese curds.

Just left the fair. Played 4 or 5 games on JP. Flippers were sloppy and a little weak. My (hope) guess is it has been getting a lot of plays. Looking forward to playing it at Hudson Tap when it shows up.

My area ( Hopkins ) is in a tornado warning for another 20 minutes.

Seek shelter now.

LTG

At 1026 PM CDT, a radar confirmed tornado was located over Wayzata,
or 9 miles west of Minneapolis, moving east at 35 mph.

Worst is over.

It will be at Hudson Tap on Sep. 16th. It's being used for a second JP at the big launch party at St. Paul Tap on the 15th.

I wanted to play JP at the Fair( on my first visit). The dollar bill acceptor didn't work, and the change machine was out of order. There was just a really long line to get quarters from the quarter lady.

I didn't bother,.

On my 2nd visit to the fair, I didn't bother with visiting the pins. Played Space Invaders Frenzy instead at the other arcade.

A bit disappointed.

You didn't miss out that much. You could barely hit the ramps on the JP @ the fair. The one @ TILT plays great though. DG_Amuse put a bunch of spotlights on it as well so it is nice and bright.

Can't we go home yet? My feet hurt! All the fresh air is making my hair move. And I don't know how much longer I can complain.

That's crazy that the flippers on the JP at the fair were that weak. Must have gotten a ton of play. On the JP at St. Paul Tap, I have actually successfully made the left ramp off a target ricochet before so it's not like the flippers need a lot of power or a direct perfect shot to make the ramps.

What’s fire! Go for usually? I saw it up there but didn’t inquire

#13033 4 years ago

I tried Sunday and Monday and heard nothing and then called again today when I saw it still posted. Left another voicemail and then the owner finally responded later to say they were sold. Price for a fire? I suppose sub 1k to 1.5 depending on condition...

We have a very nice TSPP that I am hoping to trade for a newer Stern... possibly Star Wars, Black Knight, Munsters, GOTG or Ghostbusters.

#13035 4 years ago

Listed my ghostbusters pro for sale, PM me if you are interested. Has a solid amount of mods like pinblades, shaker, airball protector, and more.

#13036 4 years ago

I listed my HUO LotR for trade and had some good offers and great conversations but l took it down as nothing made me feel like I had to trade. So, I might list it for trade or just for sale again but thought I would just see if anyone had any cool +/- cash trade offers.

#13037 4 years ago

We will be posting our JJP POTC Standard for sale today if anyone is interested. It was routed for a few months but still plays great.

Includes a full backup plastic set and all the service upgrades.

Gilfriend and I hit Tilt on Friday night. No luck playing TBL(it wasn't idle for a second), Wonka, or Jurassic Park. All the machines on a Friday night were getting plenty of coin drop. We shall try again on a slow day.

Anyone want to buy or trade for a GB Pro? Would be looking for MBr or Hobbit. I would obviously add cash. Also still looking to sell space shuttle and space station as well.

Still have that space shuttle?

#13044 4 years ago

No I sold that - also picked up a hobbit, but still looking to sell or trade GB.

#13045 4 years ago

Please PM me if any of you could bring a game down to Expo for me. It's near Green Bay.

#13046 4 years ago

I have a nice haunted house pinball machine I’m looking to trade or sell. Plays great. cabinet, playfield, plastics, etc all in good shape.
I’d be looking to get $2100us for it, or trade towards a stern, Sega, data east, gottlieb from my wishlist. I can add up to $1000us to my side for the right pin.
I can drive as far as Minot or Grand Forks to meet up (can factor distance into final price). I really can’t commit to driving further, and don’t want to waste anyone’s time by trying to and then it never working out.
I can email pics of my haunted house to anyone interested.

#13047 4 years ago

Anyone going to Expo and have room to haul a game back to Madison?

I have two prepurchased games coming to me at Expo and prefer to not make two trips. I can toss you some cash for the effort.

Going to be probably listing a Slugfest here shortly. Was hoping to trade for a Wipeout, but would be willing to possibly sell outright if I can find one.

#13049 4 years ago

Very interested in learning more about your slug fest. Don’t have anything to trade so looking to buy. Reach out when you’re ready to sell please. Thank you

Bumping this so soon, because I'd really like to find a Gottlieb system 3 game to trade haunted house for. Would be happy to trade for any of the following in good shape:
Big Hurt, Stargate, Waterworld, Wipe Out, Street Fighter 2, Super Mario Bros Mushroom World.
Or would accept $2050US for it.
Can send pics if anyone would like. Overall it works great and is quite nice cosmetically, its just not the style of gameplay I prefer.
