Poland and Spain have failed me. Paris doesn't hold out much hope either at this point.
Thanks Euroland.
Your findings mirror mine. Outside of the UK, the rest of Europe is for the most part, a lost cause for pinball. Even IF I have found a bar with a pin somewhere, it is usually in need of a lot of maintenance and cleaning, if not out of order altogether. I’m guessing that it’s probably just too expensive getting parts and there is also a significant wait time for snail mail to deliver parts as well. Not to mention, knowledge on how to fix the machines. So, I get it......sort of.
It’s too bad, as there seem to be a decent number of private owners with several or more pins at their homes (according to the pinmap). You would think that there would be a market for a good pinball bar SOMEWHERE, such as large cities like Madrid, Paris, Rome, Barcelona, Frankfort, Milan etc..
Anyone want to go in on a business venture? Preferably Prague or Barcelona - the cities with the highest eye candy ratio, BY FAR.
