Thank you foxtj24. I’ll give her a call, appreciate it.
Call Melissa at Cointaker. She got me my KISS and Metallica Pros for $x700 shipped and no tax (and free shaker and mirror blades). Peter’s Billiards prices are worse than some of the crazy Craig’s List folks. Anybody bought the $7000 Apollo 13 yet?...

And if you post her prices she will get in trouble and not give you another deal, Pleases edit your post to remove prices.

That price is WAY lower than Stern lets any dealer/distributor sell at without potentially losing their ability to sell Stern machines.
We can get MN folks factory shipped direct machines from Stern at the lowest price Stern will let anyone sell at with free shipping, no tax, and we cover any credit card fees.

** Pin Transport Sought: Expo Back to Minneapolis **
I'm negotiating to buy a pinball from a seller in GA who can bring the game to Expo this year.
I'm not planning to go to Expo myself, so I'm asking if there is someone from Minnie who *is* going and who has room in his vehicle whom I could hire to haul it home to me here in Minneapolis.
The pin is a modern Stern and I would be happy to pay you a fair sum for your effort.
Thanks.

I'm going down in my van. They load it, you unload it. I'd be glad to do it for you.
LTG : )
Wow, Lloyd!
You're an angel!
Thanks so much for offering to help!
The pin deal is still under negotiation, but having the transport angle set is a HUGE help.
I will take it up with you in person when I see you next.
BIG thank you!
In the twin cities for the next couple of days. Does anyone have any under $1800 late 80s through 90s SS they would like to sell? Looking to fill my SUV for the ride home. Project/big project/routed/players is a-okay. Wish list: Time Machine is my #1 right now, Rollergames, Judge Dredd (yeah I know almost definitely not but hey you never know), T2, Demo Man, almost any other Data East (except JP), Stargate, starship troopers, of course most sys 11. Anything out there right now? I saw the F14 sitting on Craigslist right now.
Feel free to PM.
Also: Trying to get to Tilt to play Deadpool before i have to leave town. I need to play it!
Anyone got any project pins in the milwaukee area they are willing to get rid of? Finally sold my Seven up looking for a new project. Prefer something non EM but would consider.

Nice place ,good line up of games , nice selection of beer .I can imagine it gets pretty busy earlier and on weekends. My daughter also really enjoyed it there , We will definitely be going back there again sometime .

welcome to the board buddy. Hopefully it's playing better. Think it needs to be tweeked out, as the crossover ramp transition is not smooth at all.

majority of DP are that way. Honestly it is a neat shot but a very poor design for a pinball machine. Too dependant on pitch, lean, flipper strength, etc...

Maybe but each game has their tweaks.
My GBLE I had to tweak this bad boy a ton to play just right- but she is sweet now.

tell me about it. I had to tweek and mod my GB prem for 9 hours to get it to play somewhat flawless. Right ramp still isn't 100% yet.
Picked up a semi-project ToM today as part of a package deal. Plan now is to fix it up, but if anyone is looking for one, and has something to trade, I'm all ears
Thinking of selling my Stargate - let me know if you are interested.
Pin Stadium lighting (w/GI/UV glow) was added to it. I can take a video/pics.
PM me if interested.
thanks, M

Crossover ramp was not smooth , getting ninja multi ball was tough. Still enjoyed the game though, fighting modes are fun . I like the call outs ,but the classic Williams sounds seemed to be used for the wrong things .
yes, I kept thinking alien poker when I was playing it. I think that crossover exchange can be adjusted. Similar to the plunger exit on alien poker. Just needs to be angled better so the gap transition is more smooth.
Anyone want to spend $11,000?
If he had a few more williams testers, system 9-11, wpc, wpc 95, etc. Might be getting close to 11k

Where's the best place to get pinball glass in the city? Looking at replacing a sheet for a Gottlieb Sys 3 game.

I always get mine from Pinball Warehouse in Fridley.

Same. Except only one sheet, because that's all I've had to buy so far.
Quoted from fanuminski:so..where do you dispose of your old glass?
In a big bag and then tap the corner with a hammer. Instantly becomes 1 million pieces in a small heavy little pile. Toss the bag in the garbage.

people dispose of old glass? mine just builds up. Someday i'm going to use it for something.
I've pretty much spent all my free time this year tearing apart my basement and finishing it just to satisfy my pinball addiction. Putting in 40 hour weeks on top of my full time job and a pregnant wife has been a challenge. The only thing that kept me going was knowing that my machines were in storage until I completed. The wife being due in about a month has sped things up too. Game room should be done next week. This room is about 1000 square feet. My dozen pins will fit nice on the back end. Horror theme on the smaller wall. The rest on the back half of the long wall. I'll post another pic when everything is done.

Congrats on finishing your basement and congrats on the spud that is on the way.....don’t waste your time putting anything in the walls or using the space for anything other then pinball.
When I finished my basement I owned 3 machines. I now have 25 in the basement and another 5 stored at other people’s houses.
Trust me once you are in and set up you will start looking at any wall space as potentially room for another pin. .
Make sure you update us with some pics of the room when it is loaded up.

Did you need to drop the floor or did you always have that much space? I'm thinking of doing something similar, but my ceilings are a bit low right now.
This room was added around 2000 as part of an addition. There is another 20x30 room in the basement that is part of the original house that I'm also finishing. Floors are about 2 feet higher in that room. From what I understand jacking the house up is typically easier and more cost effective than lowering the floor. I'm interested in hearing what you get quoted on that if you end up going that route.
Quoted from MustangPaul:Congrats on the baby and gameroom. Your not to far from me.
I'm going to have a few local pinside friends swing by after it's complete. Maybe we can have some sort of tournament and of course beer. You are more than welcome. I doubt many of the people I know are going to appreciate what I've done as much as us pinsiders.

That would be cool, PM me in advance. Hopefully on a Sat night.
Greetings guys.
I’ve got a nice Captain Fantastic and Buckaroo I’m looking to sell or trade.
Please PM if interested.
Thanks.

Sad but true...
I have the double whammy - my basement has a mini arcade area (currently 3 pins, should be able to fit 5 if I can find any I want for reasonable price...). It also has a theater - 135" screen, tiered stadium seating, and the room is soundproofed (hat channel, green glue, multiple layers of fire rated drywall, boxes for all of the recessed lights, a dedicated HVAC and air exchange system). Most people I talk to roll their eyes at it. Hell, one contractor asked if I was trying to build a kill room when I told him my requirements. Some people just don't get it
