Backglass is ok.
Has a few flaked spots, but has been sealed.
I would be interested in an alternative translite or BG if someone did cleaner art with better resolution of the characters.

I'm heading to Game Works at the MOA tomorrow for a company party. I think I recall hearing that they now had pinball machines now? Anyone happen to know what they have there? Sounds like we all get an unlimited play card for several hours, so you better believe I will not be socializing much and it will be non-stop free pinball!

Looking at the pin map, there are plenty of pinbot's in MN, WI, IA (and a couple in SD..)

Another possibility is he was bidding up his own auction and got stuck with it. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been “outbid” then the seller comes to me five minutes after the sale and offers it to me for the high bid. Umm no. I’d pay what it was before you tampered with the auction buddy.

I think that may be exactly what happened, the bids went up quick and way past what I thought it would go for. His description even says he may pull the auction early if he sells elsewhere.

Grrrr. That thing is a serious project. There is a reason the pictures and video suck... because it's likely POS and he knows it.

I would much rather buy from an honest pinsider that takes care of their games.

Exactly why I was surprised it went to 1850, that thing needs a lot of work to bring it up to market value.

*** Pin Transport Help Sought: Stillwater to Minneapolis ***

Hi.

If there is anyone whom I could enlist to help me move a prepped pin from Stillwater to Minneapolis, I would love to hire you.

The pin in question is wrapped and strapped to a dolly, still in the seller's home. My plan was to haul it home in my compact car, but that didn't pan out. The load-out is a bit tricky, but not too bad. The pin is waiting in the seller's bar, near his garden-level double-door back door. Those doors lead onto a patio and then to a seventy-foot, sloping stretch of lawn up to the driveway. The load-in is actually tricky, as it involves a basement stairwell that is narrow and makes a sharp turn midway down. I may borrow a sheet of plastic from Mustang Paul (if he's willing) and use that to slide the pin down the stairs.

The pin's dimensions are 52" x 24.5" x 24.5". I s'pose it weighs 225lb. I can pay your for your time, lifting energy, and gas. Roundtrip from my house in Mpls. to the seller's in Stillwater is 60 miles.

If you have an appropriate car/truck and the time/interest, please shoot me a quote as to what I could pay you for the help.

I should mention that the seller, Tom, has been exceedingly kind/generous in this transaction. I will NOT be leaning on him for any more assistance in the load-out. He has already gone above/beyond in this sale.

As for timing, I can adjust my schedule to fit yours, and I believe the seller is fairly flexible, too. Ideally, *two* strong people would help with this, if possible. I'm a bit banged up right now so doing a lot of heavy lifting is more than I can manage, frankly.

He’s doing something shady, items don’t get sold a few times then relisted within minutes. And I doubt he has multiple pin bots all remarkably alike. And what do ya kno, some of the same bidders are bidding on a motorcycle of his. What are the odds???

I just reported the seller for shill bidding. Guys like this give eBay a bad name. Hopefully they can research his listing activity and see it's the same ID's he's continuing to use when bidding up his own items.
