I can't stand Fish Tales. I seriously walk away after a ball or two. I forced myself to play one a while ago, and I played three games on it and I just couldn't stand it. Have really tried to give it a fair shake.

really? That's pretty sweet. I don't know where that is, but I need to learn. Is it on cleveland ave I take it? Near moorland or closer to hwy 100?
Click on the link above in my post and it will show the address and a map. I played it tonight and it was VERY generous on giving out Replay awards. Played about 5 games and left with 3 credits remaining. To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of the game yet, but I've only played around 10 games total. The lights are spastic and the DMD dots are miserable. Go give it a shot though! They also have KISS Pro.
I like the direction the rules are going. Very video game like. The pro is very very stripped down compared to the premium. It plays smooth, but feels very cheap.

Ever since I was a kid, my pops would take me to play. I've recently been handed down the old family pins and my obsession has been resparked. I have two older EM's but have been really getting into researching older and newer solid state's. Anyways, hello!
ChrisNack and I stopped by Blainbridge Entertainment center in the twin cities today. It was an interesting place. Not all the pins worked, and some were rough, but there was a great selection. We had a pretty good time. There were quite a few top 100 machines in one place. Favorite machine was probably Attack From Mars. We were surprised how many people were there on a Thursday afternoon.
In trying to order One Grand Biltz wax twice recently I have had my order canceled and money refunded. The woman I talked to today said the factory had a bad fire and people were hurt. The future outlook is unknown.
My question for folks in the bigger cities is whether there are any retail outlets that anyone knows of which handles the product? I have brothers in Madison and the twin cities I am planning to visit over the holidays.
If anyone finds a stash considering picking up a jar for me.

Welcome to the crazy. There are a lot of us in the area. I'm in Plymouth, there are a few Fond du Lac guys, and quite a few guys up in the Fox Cities. Bought my first machine in Oct, 2013 and the last couple of winters have been a breeze.
They lack the bite they used to have.

Not sure, i did not even walk up to it since i was there looking at a different machine.
Pinball in Madison gets a little better this week.
We now have our 3rd location opening this Friday. Alt Brew, a brewery specializing in gluten free beer, has graciously partnered with Madison Pinball to help bring more pinball to the masses!
Very pumped for this new location on a personal level as my wife is a Celiac with a severe intolerance to Gluten. She also likes drinking beer and playing pinball.
IronMan and JM go in to the new spot on Friday with 2 more games to follow shortly. If things go well, there is a possiblity that the location can expand in # even more!
Please stop on out this weekend and say hello to the owners of the new spot. Be sure to try a beer (they have regular beer also, but the GF stuff is really good) and tip your bartenders well.

I have tried LOTS of GF beer due to my wife drinking it. To put it simple, most is pretty meh and some if down right bad.
The new Alt Brew stuff is really great and I put their new nut brown in top 5 favorite beers currently. They are in bottles all over Madison area and expanding distribution rapidly. Pretty sure they will start filling growlers soon also, so stop on your way through town next time.
For those like me who live in Madison and were like, where the hell is Alt Brew, its on the east side by MATC. 1808 Wright St, Madison, WI 53704. Great to see another location going in.

You need to put some of your pins at Fitgers or up in Burrito Union! Castle Danger looks like it has room for a couple in Two Harbors as well...

Anyone local interested in a space invaders? Cabinet is nice. Backglasses are absolutely perfect. Got it to boot once. Needs a new MPU board or someone that wants to fix the acid along the bottom. Everything was working mechanically the one time I got it to boot. Power switch is flaky too. $800 OBO. If it doesn't sell, I'll buy the alltek and throw it in and shop it out sell it for $1300. If you already have SI. Would be a great game to combine with another to make a really minty one. Open for trades as well.
