    Hello

I’m looking to grow my arcade route. There is already an operator in town and i don’t want to burn any bridges and try to take any locations away from him.

Instead I’m reaching out to see if anyone has suggestions on unique locations for games

    Bars
    Movie theaters
    Laundry matt’s
Ect that’s all the normal stuff

Anyone have any success in places that might not come to mind?

    Thanks
    Ian

Not sure how popular they are in other areas -- but a couple of those make your own frozen yogurt places have popped up in our area and seem to draw people in.

Could be dealing with a lot of sticky flipper buttons though. . .

Laundry mats - imagine what a gallon of bleach does to your machine.

Places I spend a lot of time in waiting around and wish there were pinball machines to play:

    The DMV
    Hair cut place waiting room
    Doctor’s/dentist office waiting room
    Hole-in-the-wall Chinese food/pizza takeout places

Cool places with a crowd likely to play:
Video game stores (locally owned places, not chains like GameStop)
    Amusement parks/fairs
    Candy stores
    Hotel lobbies(?)

I can see it now. Take my number when I walk in, start playing pinball, get a good ball going on a game, and my turn comes up. The people that work there are so pleasant anyway. . . I'm sure they won't mind if I finish my game!

Thank you for the suggestions guys!

Right now i only have 1 location but I’m intrested in growing.

DMV would be amazing! Haha if only the government would allow it...

I like the frozen yogurt idea.

Anyone have luck with putting games in hotels?

Resort hotels often have game rooms. Business / convention center hotels don't usually. Pins are pretty rare though and there's a good chance it would be in rough shape.

To answer the original question, there are two pins in the Boise airport. An Addams Family and apparently a Ghostbusters. I only found the TAF though. It's not even in a side room, just tucked under an escalator in full view of people waiting in the terminal. I probably put five bucks in before I was called to board.

There’s a WoF at a post office in San Francisco.
