Quoted from fireball2:Uncle Pinball be dropping episode #55: Trident!
NPA! New Pinball Acquisition! 1979 Stern Trident. Have you experienced the 2,3,4,5 drop targets? Four (4!) slingshots?! No left outlane? Two rippable spinners. Open right elbow lane? Prolly not. I know I hadn't. And I thought that drop target thing was a bug, not a feature at first! I tore the whoole mech apart before i read the manual. LOLOL!
Classic Stern weirdness! Starting to LUV this game!
Gonna be a nice little show-bringer: easy to move, a little beat, works great, really fun!

This is a great game I agree. But I can't help wondering if this and other games (Gottlieb 'Big Brave' for example) were built for bath houses or similar establishments. The artwork seems too blatant to be unintentional. Is this a pinball industry secret? I wish someone in the know would come out (no pun intended) with whether or not they were marketing to a specific sector with these games. In an industry that was historically overly and overtly designed with female physique centric artwork, these games really stand apart.
