I'll give ya a try if you ever show up on podbean. Not sure how that all works to get on there, but that's the main way I listen to podcasts on my phone.

Sweet. Downloading them now. Will give them a listen tomorrow.
Plus, o-din's A-okay in my book, so that's a plus one for you all ready!
Enjoying them so far. Haven't finished with the latest couple. Reminds me of Macho's podcasts, short and sweet. Good job so far.

Ranting about stupid stuff on Pinside. Who takes a gun to a pinball deal? I'll just call my brotato, Lou, for backup!
Also: My Brotato O-Din, LCD clips, and other shtuff!

Party on Wayne(s)
Keep on keeping on Uncle Pinball. You bring the truth to the pinball world, and I love your description of O-Din!
Shoot, meant to ask you these yesterday, but I've been pretty darn busy. Oh well, you can always save them for next time.

How did Kyle get his start in Pinball, and how/when did he start learning repair skills?
How did he end up working for Marco?
Is Imoto as cool in person as she is on camera/stream?
What's Kyle's favorite game at the moment? What's his favorite era of pin?
What are Kyle's favorite type of pins to work on?
Any tech work that Kyle hates to do, or loves to do?
LED vs Incandescent for older games?
Favorite thing about working for Marco?
Least favorite thing about working for Marco?
Most satisfying part of working on a pin? Mine's when you finally get it back to together and flip the switch and everything works.
Quoted from fireball2:I can already answer the led one. Incandescent all the way. He is most def not in the rainbow unicorn set.
Ha! Well, I like to use LEDs, but I basically just use Frosted Sunlights or Frosted Warm Whites. So it keeps the colors looking natural, but brightens things up. At a minimum, I like to do the GI and backbox, so that I don't have to worry as much about burnt up GI connectors when the game is left on.
I never understood putting colored LEDs underneath a colored insert lens. The lens is all ready colored, so a white light will still show the color just fine, and the decals on the inserts will be more visibile. Now if the insert is clear all ready, then adding some color could be interesting, maybe...
You're killing it with these podcasts Uncle Pinball! Good stuff. I like that you're going a little longer on the episodes. I've got a lot of listening time right now, so it's nice to have a bigger chunk of Uncle Pinball to listen to at once.
I've got a spare Trident backglass, but I'm not sure that it's in any better than yours. How bad is yours looking? Mine's got some missing paint in a few spots. Mainly, in the lower corners.
Quoted from fireball2:That sounds killer. Mine loses a little more paint every time I take it off
Mebbe we both take pics and compare!
mark
I'll take some pics later.
Also, I saw you were having issues with the Swemmer MPU board in your Excalibur last year, did you ever get that resolved? I've been reading that some of the chips/components on 'em can be flakey. I'm helping a guy with his Night Moves. It's got a Swemmer board in it, and I'm getting some weird behavior that makes me think there's a problem with the NVRAM, or some other component on the board. It doesn't like to boot very easily, and half the time when it does boot, it loses the high scores and settings. If I pull the NVRAM chip, then it'll boot a lot more consistently, but then I still get some weird behavior.
Here she be. Once you really look close, there was a bit more paint loss than I thought. The paint actually seems pretty well adhered though, it's not flaking to the touch or anything. My dad picked it up like 15 years ago, and I think he might have sprayed a sealer on the back, but I'm not sure.
