Which one do you own? Do you like it? I would like your feedback before I purchase one. I looked at the ones at Harbor Freight. Are they to small?

    #3 9 years ago
    Quoted from mot:

I got the cute little $25 guy from Amazon. I like it, but I know it's not up to your standards!

    I have standards?

    #5 9 years ago
    Quoted from Soapman:

I got the 2.5 L one and it works great. It cleans most items.

price and or pics would help.

    #7 9 years ago

do you fit a wire harness in it?

    #13 9 years ago
    Quoted from mot:

No holes drilled through the playfield is one.

    Touche'

    #14 9 years ago

I'd as McCune what he has but last time it cost a fortune when I liked his sanding system.

    #43 9 years ago

I know little about these. How often do you change the liquid?

    1 month later
    #70 9 years ago

    I bit and bought.

This thing is amazing. I threw a few coils in and the look like new.

    #75 9 years ago

The next jump is costly. I will be trying wire harnesses next. I might have to do them in partial loads. I don't care for the noise it makes .

I'm usually pretty good at researching things but I feel I should have looked into a larger unit.

5 minutes in the ultrasonic cleaner then a quick rinse in the sink. I then hang them up a hit them with high pressure air. Mainly socket, switches and connectors.

    #109 9 years ago

Rub it in Pindel, I had to do mine in 3 batches.

    #119 9 years ago

I have only had that happen on a couple of metal plates, so I threw them in my vibrator/polisher for an hour.

    #125 9 years ago

I'm still playing with the tempature on mine. What is everyone else setting theirs at?

It was this one, although I think I paid shipping. I find it best to lose track of what one spends $ on for pinball stuff.

    Quoted from mac622:

Do think IR opto transmitter and receiver boards would be safe to clean in an US?

I have personally run every imaginable item outside of the playfield and motors. The only caveat would be harsh cleaners that eat things.

    Quoted from hisokajp:

you ran silkscreen slingshot plastic in there too?

I have but with a very mild detergent.

    1 month later
    #453 7 years ago

I've been using it for a while now. It works great but I stopped using it on boards. It seems to bleach out the green color a bit.

    #456 7 years ago

It works great on a bunch of different thanks. Relatively cheap and easy to use. The only time I don't use it now is on any of my boards

    #499 7 years ago
    Quoted from dozer1:

Has anyone had any trouble with the drain hole at the bottom of the ultrasonic leaking down on the electronics inside and popping your ground fault outlets? I am going to try and seal it again tomorrow, as I am having those issues for the second time. I have to find a better sealing ring of some type.

    Which unit?

    1 month later
    #512 7 years ago
    Quoted from Whysnow:

no need to remove the switches to clean in the ultra.
Just blow them out dry when done.

    I totally agree
