I want to ad my 2 cents to this subject of cleaning harnesses. If you don't blow the water out of the molex connectors REALLY REALLY well, you are at risk of making the pins corrode. Nice to have a clean harness for a quality restoration but not at the expense of causing bad connection problems.....

Anyone try to put in an entire coin door without taking it all apart? I mean a painted coin door like a wpc door, I assume you can't put anything with paint on it right?

Anyone ever try putting rusty parts in a glass jar with evaporust (or equivalent) and putting it in the ultrasonic?

    Quoted from dozer1:

I can't hurt to experiment, but to me it would make sense to give the parts a quick ultrasonic job just to remove grime, then soak in evaporust a couple of days. Rinse off, and tumble for awhile to polish, if you need them to be better yet.

Personally I never had luck with metal in the ultrasonic , at least using purple power
