Am I correct in assuming the game has no pop bumpers?

Dumb question I know but,
Why doesn't Spooky do pop bumpers?
I passed on Alice Cooper because it didn't have any and now Ultraman?
I am on the fence about buying an UM le.
Thanks in advance.
I just brought home UM CE butter. Serial # UTM071210092.
Can anyone tell me the game # from this?
How can I tell the current code?
The code does not display on the screen upon power up.
It does show Starting Version Z3Z or 232, followed by "Welcome to Pinix etc."
If it is on the original code I was considering updating it.
thanks,
Quoted from TigerLaw:Where did you find the serial number? I can’t find mine anywhere.
Inside the cabinet, on the right side of the cabinet near the front.
IMG-5216 (resized).jpgI love Spooky and want to love UM, but it needs work.
I am hoping it will turn out like Houdini and become a keeper.
There must be better notice/warning that the ball is coming down the out lanes or the game is done for.
Make the flipper flip or a call out before the ball shows up.
Everyone who plays this finds it madding that there ball has drained before they even know it. Folks here just walk away from it in disgust after missing the balls being fed to the flippers.
Anyhow, how do you spell Benular/Bemular?
When is more content coming for UM?
IMG-5220 (resized).jpgFirst Spooky game. I have had it for a week.
I think the fonts need to be larger and have more contrast.
The display is hard to read.
I have been worried about this thing getting hit and sure enough.
Not sure what to do, a new one will just get hit/broken again.
I guess for parts the only way to order them is to call them?
Beautiful art and the playfield is perfect, much nicer than any of my CGC playfields.
Game seems well built, but....
I am looking forward to hearing what they have to say about addressing its shortcomings.
Quoted from Damonator:If a lot of my pins are being played, I don't always hear the lifter sound cue so I still lose a ball every once in a while.
I plan to remove the Kaiju plastics above the slings for a while just to be able to see the ball coming out. Not sure if I'll keep it that way, but it's a quick and easy change that's reversible.
Neat idea, I did this and it helps alot.
It helps enough that I decided to remove the plastics below the Kaiju plastics.
It really helps me notice the ball coming.
During multiball everyone here including myself keeps missing the balls coming from the lifters and they just drain.
I am looking forward to the July 10th updates and very curious how they plan to address this.
A piece of blue painters tape over the bright led fix's the problem.
I hate taking pieces off of the game but this made the game playable.
Now I can see the right lifter flap is not laying flush with the playfield?
It would be nice to have the update now for the 4th of July weekend.
Quoted from rotordave:Sounds like a good opportunity for Spooky or a modder to make some bucks!
rd
I hope Spooky does it for free.
Quoted from Sandman454:Yay!!
Finally got my email for Butter cab request. Not going butter as some delays and I would miss shipping to OZ.
So for the other guys from Australia you should also be getting your email too.
Now I am excited again.
Oh man, the butter cab is the moat beautiful thing going on now in pinball.
The Ultraman artwork is the most beautiful artwork on a game in a long time.
If you are paying all that money you may want to reconsider and keep the butter, mine is a keeper based on that alone.
cheers
I am not a tech guy, it seemed my game had more bugs after 1.08.
This update cleared up most (so far) of the games glitches.
That said I agree completely with,
There are a lot of "glitchy" looking transitions. For example, sometimes when it goes from footage back to the dashboard UI, you'll see just the red numbers on their own for a split second before the rest of the screen pops on. Or you'll just see a white flash on the UI for seemingly no reason. Hopefully they can make these transitions & timing smoother.
Thanks spooky and keep us posted.
The lock down bar clamps are a pain in the ass.
When lowering the pf they hit the clamps every time.
Quoted from lpeters82:I had an issue on my personal game with airballs. Adjusting the flipper rubbers pretty much eliminated my airballs. That said, if you keep getting them a shield of some kind would help reduce the damage the airballs are causing.
Spooky should be working on providing that part sooner rather than later.
Quoted from RussMyers:I preheated my toaster oven to 325F, laid the lexan strip on a sheet of aluminum foil on a tray, and waited 2-3 minutes until it started to sag.
The first time I tried, waited too long and the lexan bubbled on me (ruined)
I had on leather gloves and bent the soft hot lexan over the corner of my wooden cutting board; not a perfect match to the curve, but close enough.
I was worried my heat gun would heat it too much too fast.

Great idea and execution.
Note to Spooky: Another replacement part to add to the list. Please.
Quoted from kciaccio:HW looks better, but that's just me.
UM is beautiful.
As we approach Halloween.
I think I read a HW code update will drop by the end of the month.
Has Spooky announced the same for UM?
My UM has been playing well after a few connector issues.
Quoted from RussMyers:OK, for anyone who is having problems with a lot of rejects on clean or mostly-clean shots to the Beta Capsule scoop, replacing the factory scoop deflector with the one from Marco made a HUGE difference. Literally the very first game with it in I beat my high score. It's a PITA to install and you have to drill a 3rd hole and grind the sides down to fit, but for me it was worth it.

It would be nice to know if Spooky plans on making this modified part available.
I pulled mine to far forward as a result of no stops.
dropped the rear of the PF into the bottom of the cab and smashed the main board.
Spooky is working with me to rebuild the board.
