According to Chet, Japanese characters translate to: (title) "Free Game" (text) "Blinking lights, noisy sounds and a rising score are proof of this player's skill against an enemy."

Does anyone else have an issue with the magnet not releasing the ball after getting across the bridge? I am having to wait and hope the ball search releases it.

I think the game is coming along nicely. I like the layout and the upper playfields but dang is that right orbit a bitch. I can’t wait for the big update this month.

I get my most extreme air balls off the three drop targets. I had one bounce off the drop and had it land behind my flipper and I am at a 6.5 pitch.

I measured the pitch on the playfield and yes I have the protector. I am pretty sure the protector kept it from hitting the glass. The ball just came straight back and over the flippers. It’s only happening once but it took me by surprise.

This game is loads of fun. I can’t wait for the next update to see if they incorporate the upper playfields better. I just hope to get my Ultraman up and running again soon.

How is the ball reacting off the three drop targets for everyone? I have been getting extremely crazy air balls off them and no matter how I adjust them it acts the same. I have also adjusted the pitch up and down to no avail.

I am getting some serious air off these drops. I have tried adjusting them and my pitch but it still catapulting back to me.

I see the deflector flex when the ball hits it. I would not think the ball would bounce like that off the drops.

I think Ultraman will turn into a good game over time. The shots are there and the code can be polished. I do really hope they put some better music or a variety songs in because it’s hard to get into a battle with some Kaiju while listening to such soft jams. How about some callouts explaining what’s going on because it’s hard knowing what’s going on especially when you stack modes.
This is my first ride with Soooky so I can’t say much about what has happened in the past but this game seemed rushed and way to incomplete. I do understand the apprehension of holding on to Ultraman with the current code and QC issues but I think and hope it will get better.
I already have my game so I am In it for the long haul but I can say that I still have confidence that it will turn into a great game.

I know it’s not Ultraman but after watching some of Bug’s Halloween stream Spooky put out today gives me hope. I think streaming the game while giving an explanation and talking about future code updates will help ease everyone’s apprehension. Now if they would do it for Ultraman as well that would be awesome.

The Right orbit shot is frustrating for everyone. My Left Orbit shot only registered 20% of the time during the time I owned the game.
Drop targets didn't drop 50% of the time and sent ball flying back at player through the air. Left holes not fun or easy to hit.
Ramps often rejected firm shots and came flying back at ya. ?? Upper playfields look cool, but suck. Not many shots, and none flow. etc etc same as everyone else's opinions.

I like the layout but the drop target issue is my biggest gripe. I can find that right orbit but that top scoop is a pain in the ass.
I upgraded to a CE and I have a BSE spot to sell. Worst case scenario I just give away my deposit but I don’t think it will come to that.
I still have faith that Spooky will make this game better with new code, music and lights.

I traded my TMNT for a CE and I too have a BSE on order. I hope I can gain some money back on my deposit but who knows what will happen in 6 months. Glad I upgraded, but looks like I will pay for my impatience.

Is there a way to tighten the flippers? When I do a dead bounce, my flippers have a little give. Is this how they normally act or should I be looking for something to tighten?

I still don’t get the hate for this machine. I am loving mine and the new modes are really fun. Yeah the layout is not for everyone but for me it’s a blast to play. the only shot that is not fun to shoot is the top left scoop. That thing is hard to hit.

I am still waiting on some music that gets my heart pumping or brings some energy to the game. Jirass and Dada have the best music so far in my opinion but where is Ultraman’s equivalent to Don’t Fear the Reaper?

I have I have noticed when I start the two ball multiball the game will not allow me to start a mode or any or any other multiball. I qualified both a mode and a multiball while in the two ball, but it would not allow me to start anything until I drained one ball.

I was playing the other night and I have to say the DADA mode is really fun and the pigmon multiball makes me laugh every time I see that video. The game is coming along. I have #73 so I have been along for the ride for a bit now and I am excited to see what is to come for Ultraman.

I had a bug where the upper most playfield died while in Jirahs multiball. The mode kept going but I couldn’t score the super jackpot because the flipper was dead. I got to the Jirahs multiball again on the same ball and it worked fine. Who knows.

I am not sure what I am going to do with my Blood sucker Edition preorder. I traded my TMNT for Ultraman 73 back in November because I didn’t want to wait. Now I am afraid my impatience cost me $1500. I thought for sure I would have been able to get my money back, but live and learn I guess.

Ok, my Kaiju collection has grown a little. It’s time to have the true Kaiju battle. I still say Matt Frank did a better job on the cabinet art for sure. The only thing Ultraman is missing is some engaging music that gets the blood pumping.

I can’t pick a favorite because it’s like picking your favorite child. You know you have one but can’t say it out loud.

The things I would like to see with the code are some big fixes with the spacium store. The drop target on the right is pretty much unused.

When I am in a mode the ball gets trapped in the subway until the mode ends and the game does a ball search. This happens while the spacium store is qualified.

I believe there is a Wizard mode for completing all battles. Ultraman 7 or something like that.

I have had my Ultraman for over a year now. I still enjoy it as much as I did when I first played it. Maybe more fun since the code has matured. I will never get my money back, but that only matters if I sell. If I keep it then I lose nothing.

Just got updated and deflector replaced, then had my longest game. When you open up this game it is a blast. Keep up the great work Matt.

Dada mode does have an audio issue. When it reveals Dadas location, the audio get really quiet.

Trying to dial in my upper playfield. For the life of me I can’t get the butt pretzel to shoot clean while holding up my flipper. It alway hits low on the post.

I am torn like most, I got burned on QC but Spooky made it right. I do feel like Ultraman is much slower at getting the updates, but the recent updates have been fun.
Unfortunately if you are like me and paid full price, there will be a significant loss if the game is sold. Good thing I don’t want to sell.

Had a couple of good games today. This game sure is a blast to play.

I love my Ultraman, but I would love it a lot more if I got it for $6000 and not the original $9000. Thought about selling it a couple times, but I just can’t.

m4tt how close are we to the final code? It’s been nice getting code updates every couple months, but I am sure that will end eventually.
