#17 landed in AZ! Couldn't fit the box through the door as the game itself was strapped to the crate and the delivery guy would not slide the crate over the threshold. Getting ready for the festivities!

V1.02 (UM)
FIXED topper attract would play when in menu system and hitting flippers
FIXED volume changes now affect sfx channels in real time
FIXED mode select / store modes would start if available when ball search kicked in
FIXED “Zumbular” mode was not awarding points for green targets
FIXED “Pestar” missing mode music
UPDATE tilt warning lights now functional
UPDATE right scoop rampup time increased
UPDATE removed flipper power settings
UPDATE if dropbank targets trigger hardware issue event, modes using drop targets are handled better
UPDATE internal changes to how text is positioned on display
ADDED spacium collection mode and store

I got mine to work! Big change is the selectable modes of monsters to fight, and the accompanying clips of whichever monster you chose from the TV show, playing ultraman fighting him while you hunt the shots required.
Also the Spacium Store. Buy: points, tilt warning, unlock house, 30 sec ball save, 2x, etc

One tweak to check- When you go to install your balls, put one on top upper playfield at highest point of the loop and let go. It may get stuck under the ramp (with a light powered shot) as mine did. Had to grab the ramp and twist slightly to obtain clearance. It's tight in there. Would pass through on a good powered shot though but will be wearing on the ball if you don't fine tune.

My 15yr old son who rarely plays pinball except to appease me I think, played my Ultraman. I had to take a call so I walked off. He came and found me - "Dad!! Ultraman is broken! It just kept shooting balls out over and over and over and also kept saying jackpot! Jackpot! on repeat!.... can you fix it?" Hahahahah. he was at 28mill when I came in.

I dont have a Mac and I don't buy products that are Apple only either. Not everything works on all platforms across the industry. Still waiting for Hulu to support PIP on Android, currently Apple only. Yet PIP works fine on netflix. Hulu didn't tell me that before I subscribed.

The average person I know doesn't even have a computer anymore, they use their phone for everything.

Sorry, I do not accept this.
I’ve supported Spooky & would love to continue supporting Spooky, but I’m not going to be part of a Deeprootesque cult that gives them a pass for bad things. I’m a paying customer, not a cheerleader or influencer. As a customer, I will reasonably discuss things that are unreasonable about the product. If this is unacceptable & this thread is only meant to be a cheerleading exercise, perhaps Spooky will refund my deposit in good faith. You’ll never hear from me again, and you can have fun driving all over town looking for a PC to update your game.

You are cheerleading Mac for being so great and then telling people not to cheerlead spooky?
Reversal, maybe you should yell at Mac about why their hardware configuration doesn't support spooky and a simple USB download? Obviously per previous posts someone can get Mac to act "correctly", it just doesn't want to on an average day. It's all in how you look at it.

Fawzma says to move your cable to the left so you can use the port with the gold sticker on it for the updates. I did that and it still bricked before, but anyway - FYI.

Yes they contacted me to send HWN shooter (#88) and asked if I still had the game or to see if I had new owner information. I am #17 UM so I asked if they were sending my UM as well. She checked and said ok we will send that also.

Adjusted my diverter to the left one notch before I took my UM to Zapcon. And with the upper decorative plastic removed, I could see that it was the right idea. Gave the ball somewhere to settle down on its initial landing before rolling away down into headquarters, instead of rolling backwards back down onto the ramp. Made a big difference. And still past the right wall edge when pointing towards the right.

Pretty easy. Removing the screw closest to the servo, gently wiggling the diverter up off the spline, reposition/push down and put the screw back in.
Make sure you cycle it in the menu to check both positions and put it back to ramp diversion before finishing.

Here is the angle you may see when you first look at it. Way too far to the right. One left spline movement will put it just at the edge of the right hole where the red line is. Then that gives you much more room once it moves left for the house shot (as seen in previous post)

No that Halloween was not mine, I kept mine at home. That was my UM though.
I got some games in on RZ Friday, first time playing. It played good but felt like the only main thing to really do was to constantly work on coffin add-a-ball.

In one of my groups is a old timer prop maker. He has many fascinating items he is always pulling out of some old box. He busted this old UM maquette out today. First comes the sketch, then the maquette is made, then the suits are fashioned from that. Very cool

I was particular how I typed that because their message said "new content".....but "new animations" makes it sound like new animations *instead of TV footage. You know how HWN has animations to replace the movie footage, but UM doesn't so far. It may just be a new "console" design etc and new UM vs ENEMY pics with still the same TV footage (and maybe more TV stuff). Just some speculations/thoughts/semantics until they get more specific.

Also saying wizard mode will be selectable from the menu so everyone can play it regardless of skill level

Verify that your 3 lights on the lower playfield also work. If not, it is the boards above the shooter lane that can get smacked by the ball on launch. Viewable from right side of playfield.
