If this is in reference to the Don’t Panic_Flip stream, there were several problems. First, he had no idea what the rules and modes were. He was often relying on prompts from followers that were watching the game screen and/or had experience with the game.

Second, his upper playfield flipper was working intermittently at best. Which made the modes that relied on that PF simply unplayable.

Based on spookyluke’s comments in the Halloween thread, that’s the clear implication even if not officially announced. How they’re using it is unclear, but Luke is happy with the integration, at least.

Here ya go! Context was how Don’t Fear The Reaper would fit into the existing code/feel of the game (Halloween, not UM).

But since this is the Ultraman thread and I’m patiently waiting for my place in the production line, I’m excited to hear that UM is getting some love, too. Now, if only you could figure a way to make Don’t Fear The Reaper work with a kaiju battle mode…

I saw that. Sounds cool. While my personal Ultraman experience is limited to the OG series from Saturday mornings when I was a kid, I think that expanding the IP of the game is potentially a good thing in the long run. Because I’ve never seen the other source material, though, that addition doesn’t pack the same punch for me as the addition of an iconic BOC song to the Halloween machine.

But that’s just me. I was attracted to the UM theme based on my love for the 1966 series. I’m sure there are others out there that prefer other eras of the IP. So long as the implementation is done well, I suspect Spooky can keep all of us happy with the end result. From what I’ve seen so far, I’m not concerned at all. The art is spot on, the theme seems well executed, and the code is developing at a good clip.

There’s a picture of him signing them in Post #104 of the thread, along with an explanation of the lack of numbers. I don’t have my CE yet, but I assume he’s signing on an acrylic surface that overlays the plaque. So the signature is above the surface of the printing by a small margin.

UM259 (butter) was delivered awhile ago, but today I was finally able to get the beast upstairs and setup. No issues at all, and the machine looks amazing. I’ve only played about 10 games so far, but I haven’t triggered any bugs or found any QC issues at all. The OS updated without issues and I’ve been having a blast learning the rules as I go.

The only adjustment I made was to turn the lepai amp down to middle settings for volume and tone. As shipped the dials were about maxed out, which led to a constant (annoying) hum from the speakers. This pin is in my office, so I’ll keep the volume turned down lower than most, but I don’t think that the amp needs to be cranked up in any but the loudest of locations.

Not much substance to this post, I know. But I wanted to make sure that satisfied customers are represented here, too

1.10 Code Bug Report - Minor:
My machine is in my office and sometime stays on for days at a time. I've noticed since the update that the Attract Screen display eventually ends up just cycling through the Fawzma Games logo screen. It stops running through the scores, Ultraman content, and tribute screen after some period of time. Possibly freezes the machine as well, as I tried to start a game with no response. Also no response from the flipper buttons. Power cycling reset everything to normal.
