How is getting the very last game special treatment or attention-grabbing? He is at the very back of the line. This does not impact you, me, or anyone else. If someone wants a game, they can buy one of the discounted preorder spots.

He also isn't "bashing" Spooky. I understand that it may come across that way to you, but I see it as passion and cheerleading. Same as any sports fan at home or in an arena/stadium. He (like me and others) wants the very best for Spooky. Nothing wrong with giving honest feedback or constructive feedback. This is how we become better. Evidently, it helped.

Charlie is a man of the people. From what I gather, I doubt he would accommodate Kaneda if he felt "bashed."

We all have different ways of expressing constructive feedback; some stronger than others. I prefer blunt and straight-to-the-point vs. softball or what you wish to always hear.
Let's remember: at the end of the day, we collectively love pinball and that is why we are here.

I can't wait to see screenshots and hear callouts from the new code! Owners: please kindly bring it on.

I still think that the red onscreen overlay text needs to be changed. The red doesn't come across well over video, especially with map background.
The new Godzilla is a good reference point on how to do text overlay right.
I hope this can be taken under consideration for a future update if it hasn't been already.

I'm 800+ posts behind, but I'll say it again:
The red text score overlay on top of video still does not look good.

I understand the desire to stay true to the Ultraman assets and font, but not at the expense of onscreen interface.

I suggested looking at how Stern does it with Godzilla since it has similar old-school footage, but someone here responded with "don't make it look like another Stern!" I never said copy Stern -- I was implying to use them for reference, specifically in regards to text overlaid on video.
Some of the Stern team have several decades of experience in arcade graphical interfaces. They seem to be doing it right and Godzilla is a great example.
The red onscreen score needs to go.

Spooky Team:
Even though your flipper buttons smell like sardines, the new full screen clips look great.
You mentioned here and in the video that you'll continue to address UI concerns (like text legibility & overlay).
For what it's worth, my minor gripe lies with the white text on light background (Select Mode) and the various small red text that appears within the smaller video window.
Besides this addressable concern, it's evident that progress is being made.
