#76 checking in, although there’s no indication of my number other than the serial number in the cab... weren’t there supposed to be numbered plates? I mean... it is a “collectors edition” after all

Added over 2 years ago:

Actually #73, weird how that got confused

#104 2 years ago
Quoted from SpookyLuke:

I think there was some last minute shuffle in getting them all signed. There is a cool authentic signature though!

The signature is cool, no doubt, we will need to be super careful not to clean it off on accident

Should we laminate it ??

Quoted from SpookyCharlie:

Glad ya like it! That numbers thing was on me. I had time to get the plaques made and cut, sent to Japan for Ultraman himself, Mr. Bin Furuya to sign them all.... or number them and miss that window.
I think it was worth it.

Most definitely!

Check out the stuff in his cabinets, there’s quite a bit of James Dean stuff in there, and some Ultraman stuff, hehe

Ok guys, those you you that have your game... the decals on the apron on mine are lifting slightly, I’m thinking the powder coat texture is too grainy for the decals to adhere perfectly, any ideas of a fix?

#245 2 years ago

Mine came too... should I request another?, scratches!?

I installed the ramp, it works great despite that just 2 screws at the bottom is all it needs and no secured support at the top.

The scratches are a little deep for me to regrain with out polishing and then graining that I’ll save it for a rainy day, also there’s so many freaking LEDs blasting my eyes that I cant see them from a playing stance.

I’m loving the light show, but my vision is blurry and my eyes hurt after playing for a little while.

I had a few mfg issues with my machine, but the support at spooky sent me parts to rectify the situation quickly, don’t hesitate to reach out if you need help from them, they’ll work hard to fix things

#269 2 years ago
Quoted from Frax:

I've been curious about this...so what, exactly, is supporting the ramp? Just the two screws at the bottom and literally nothing else? No post or anything else?

The ramp rests on the upper playfield lip edge, the 2 bigger screws at the bottom secure the ramp down and the ramp snugs into place nicely, no weird vibration so far, nice smooth transition to the upper playfield

#271 2 years ago

They’re not numbered plaques anyway, you have to look inside the machine at the end of the serial number to know what number it is, so what’s the fuss all about

#299 2 years ago

Tried to update with a lexar 64gb drive inside the coin door, no dice

Plugged same lexar into computer directly (behind backbox). Worked just fine

There’s definitely more polish to some things and definitely more bugs to fix.

Many things are unclear as to what I’m doing.

How did I collect (spacium?) to buy stuff? How do I spend it exactly? Just seemed confusing, I guess it will be more clear the more I play the game.

#308 2 years ago

Maybe people are playing and build opinions or logging bugs... (it is Friday night)

Kane da doesn’t deserve attention in this thread

#622 2 years ago
Quoted from Lostcause:

Could be worse, you could be a UK buyer at $11400 CE non butter Halloween!
Hope that makes it a little less depressing for ya.
Hopefully this time next year people will be kicking themselves for selling.

I sure hope so, I traded mine in hopes of getting another this next year, the layout is so fun and different...

After it being gone, things I think needed to be addressed ASAP:

Air balls ... some machines are not tested thoroughly enough, and the drop targets are not calibrated and are causing a lot of problems, some folks are disabling the drops altogether.

The monotonous waiting for the ball to go from the gobble hole scoop/right playfield to the subway to the right flipper takes way too long... in an intense battle of getting the ball to the upper right pf, then missing the ball with the upper right flipper, just to wait and go through the long process of getting the ball back up there is a grind of waiting on the subway and gear lift and programming , blech! I feel this coulb be sped up a lot with better attention to programming.

I hope these are dealt with soon

#624 2 years ago
Quoted from lifefloat:

If Spooky could address this that would be cool.........in the meantime though, the wait for the ball gives me an opportunity to take a sip of beer

With as much as we are waiting for the ball... this turns into a short drinking game

#667 2 years ago
Quoted from TigerLaw:

Shaving down a half second of wait time would make huge impact on game play if it were possible. Staging would of course be best, if possible.

Staging is a great idea...

It’s fine waiting maybe a few times every once in a while for the ball to go all the way to the elevator,

But, the other day when I played my previously owned machine, I waited on the situation at least 15 times in a row, it made the situation... annoying.

I’m used to being frustrated by my bad playing, but not easily annoyed by the mechanics of a machine.

staging will be a most welcome change.

If this game becomes as badass as we all hope it will become, I’ll be back in; in a heartbeat

(I just wanted another game more . )

Quoted from smokinhos:

I think we need to remove pop bumpers too.. let's be honest, the ball just bounces around in them and takes forever for the ball to come back to the flipper so i can brick a shot and drain out the sides. Wtf are we talking about? Its seconds different. How about the AIQ subway on the premium.. i can pour a beer, cut an piece of orange and drink... who are u people? All of you cannot complain about the "i want it now" generation if you can't want 2 or 3 secs for a ball to rise from under the playfield. Smh.

It’s 8 to 12 seconds, each time
