Quoted from mnpinball:Try YouTube DP..... LMAO
It's like Rob Zombie went bad
» YouTube video
is that BangerJay ?
i need to get a texas flag like that
Quoted from Kcpinballfan:Im not sure why this is a big deal?
well... i'm going to the Houston show. it's a blast by the way...
and if that pin was there & i saw that it was as nice as what i heard from a few others, it was likely i was going to put $ money $ down on it this weekend.
but now... exec quits, company cancels on awesome show at very last minute... don't think i'll be buying in the next year. there's a lot of pins coming out over the next many months... funds could end up getting redirected just via nature of products be available (timing).
so, i guess it kinda does matter ? maybe i'm not alone in folks who were going to the show? i dunno...
just noodling
Quoted from Kcpinballfan:Im not saying you don't have a valid concern but Im speaking of how this a big deal on DP as a whole?
i dunno ?
Quoted from Kcpinballfan:The must be really uncomfortable speaking to a crowd since English isnt their first language. Only reason I could think that they would cancel.
that or they don't like takin' the stage coach from the airport & smoking cigars
Quoted from Kcpinballfan:Or that is the reason they had to cancel, Phil leaving threw a wrench in their plans and they haven't had a chance rehearse the seminar on their own since Phil was the mouth piece.
or maybe he was going to be the only guy to represent at the show?
maybe with him leaving and the general cost of shipping 1 or more pins + 1 or more reps.
good way to save some money, but advertising does work
could just be crummy timing?
man, now who's VIP party am i going to have to sneak into ?!?
have to completely redo my stealth sleuthing project plan
Quoted from RTR:I would have volunteered to be their temporary Spokesdude for the Houston show.
can you cuss when speaking to crowds ?
Quoted from MrBally:All I know is that I have to be in Houston for work Monday and Tuesday and I came close to switching my flight and arriving Saturday to attend the show and see TBL. Imagine If I had done that for the nice Delta Airlines $350.00 change fee. I'd be pissed right now.
At least from there I go to SoCal and will stay an extra day to attend an EM pin event there.
would have been cool to have met ya in houston... just sayin'
Quoted from RTR:The supreme court has roundly rejected prior restraint, so f@&k yeah!
ok, you're hired
Quoted from HunchbackHodler:It's not a coincidence that he quit right before the show. Something must have really pissed him off for him to do that. This was obviously an abrupt departure that took the rest of the team by surprise.
Houston isn't "that bad"
Quoted from Wamprat:True but I am not buying Thunderbirds. I could be wrong but I don't know if Homepin will be doing VIP nights etc as part of a promotion when the game is revealed.
i hear they are but there's strings attached.
Quoted from mcluvin:You need to edit your post unless your wife doesn't know your username.
i have no idea what you're talking about
