I agree, Stern has lost me, last new Stern pin I bought was STLE. I did buy several Stern pins after that but all were fully coded.

I think you will enjoy this one a lot. If it plays nice, HS2 is a great game. I just sold mine after 5 years of ownership. Only reason it left was because I'm limited for space. And if you don't like it for any reason, just sell it.
