On my TZ, if I increase the volume from 8 to 16, the sound gets louder in fairly linear fashion, each increment is slightly louder than the previous. If I go from 16 to 17, the volume jumps up considerably. 17 on up is really loud and is not really even comfortable to play.

Is this normal behavior or do I have a problem?

    Thanks,
    Marc

I just tried the volume on my TZ. It is fairly linear up to 20 or so when I stopped. It did seem to jump in volume around 13 more than the other incremental steps around it but it was subtle. Anything above 15 is quite loud.

Thank you for checking your TZ for me. My sound board looks to be very original, so I am wondering if it needs a rebuild. I am also running the L1 version sound ROMs, so I don't know if that could have something to do with it as well.

l-2 sound roms are a better mix , i can provide them if you need a set.
