as its not visible I would just do what Mato said and reconstruct it. or just plastic weld it.. the unit gets no "stress" I would assume that someone smashed it while moving the playfield - I dont see how it would blow up like this otherwise. I have owned 3 of them in various shapes .. one was a very routed operator machine and everything was damaged somehow ...but not the gumball.
