My TZ is running on the 9.2 rom put a couple leds in just to see how they looked, and instantly noticed some ghosting.
I am considering upgrading to the 9.4 h rom, but is it worth it, is there still ghosting? Or should I just get all non ghosting led's. I really don't want to sink a ton of money into non ghosting led's , but I hate the ghosting problems. Wondering what
everyone else did with there TZ and led's
Some say it differs from one machine to the next .But I have ghosting issues on TZ . On some of my machines like ST:TNG I only had Ghosting issues on certain inserts. The worst were the mode inserts. I added CoinTaker noghosting LED for those. The problem with TZ is there were many in different areas. So if you mix and match the brightness may be off on the different LED type.
I don't think running 9.4H will make any difference with the LED's....however, I am running 9.4H and I love the other advantages it brings...
The TZ 9.4H CPU ROM contains the updated lamp matrix driver that some people patch WPC ROMs with to reduce ghosting. So, it may be a little better than 9.2.
